Summer's on the Way

I saw that wowbbq had a special offer running over the weekend for a barbecue that I'd been meaning to buy for ages anyway, so it seemed too good to pass up. I was a bit disappointed when the headline discount turned out to be off RRP, so it wasn't really the saving I'd anticipated, but a look round other sites offering the same things showed me I was still getting a very good deal. Some places were more expensive and out of stock, duh.

I bought some new grates for my ancient Weber gas barbecue (they seem to go on forever) and a top of the range new Weber MasterTouch charcoal one. This is my second Weber charcoal barbecue (I took the last one to a friend's some years ago and they won't part with it!) and the new model remarkably manages to improve on the first.

Ordered on Sunday night, arrived exactly when the courier said it would on the Tuesday afternoon. Strangely my order confirmation arrived after the barbecue did. That and the RRP-based discount lost them a star.
