I ordered a Malvern summerhouse and garden shed from GBC based at Dobbies Garden World in Stirling. I just happened to look on the Malvern website after I had ordered and found out that if you live in Scotland they charge hundreds of pounds more. For example, the summerhouse was £400 more expensive because I live in Scotland. On a point of principle I cancelled my order.

Our Scotland prices are representative of the extra overheads incurred when servicing this region. Since we are located in Bewdley, Worcestershire it is 300 miles to either Glasgow or Edinburgh and over 400 miles to Aberdeen. A fitting team of two loses the first day traveling the 6 hours to Scotland for which they have to be reimbursed along with petrol, overnight accommodation and meal expenses. Our prices simply reflect these overheads.
