“I would if I could have my sauna.”

I ordered and paid for a hot tub from redsaunas last year. When delivery was due I was told the company had gone bankrupt. Unable to contact anyone. Now I just notice that they are back in business. What can I do? I so wanted this tub after spinal surgery and many years of back pain gained whilst nursing

Bought a sauna,which was to be delivered in a one mounts time, wrong sauna was delivered six month later, partly not working, lots of wrong promises were given regarding ,coming to fix it, they were defaulters who wasted my time and money and I have this feeling that they will default again. I bought the sauna for health reason, they were very bad people. Bad, Bad, Bad.

“Red Sauna Rip off”

After my wife had just recovered from lymphoma cancer I ordered the sauna from Red Sauna,s in early January to aid her recovery. I paid by visa card and was told delivery would take 12 weeks. Around the 12th week they wrote an e mail to me to inform me the company had gone in to liquidation. After doing some research on the internet, the director of Coxhoe Durham had been defaulting on orders early in August 2012, clearly they were still taking orders and money from people and were fully aware of what they were doing in to 2013. I contacted trading standards to get the web site shut down as they were still taking orders in April 2013. The tax office was also informed as after some investigation through companies house, he had some other business dealing going on, all being investigated. I hope this message deters others from making the same mistake as we did. I don,t know how these people can live with themselves. I hope the good people of Coxhoe Durham give this family the respect they deserve.

“Totally shocking”

I "purchased" a waterproof tv at the start of january, paying £399, the company promptly took payment. For the next few days they appeared to be on hand to answer any queries I had. After many false promises re:delivery the company then did not answer any calls. After around 2 months and many phone calls I received a call to say that the delivery had arrived although there was .a problem with the waterproof casing of the tv's and i would have to wait a little longer. the next correspondance i had witht the sales person now i was informed that delivery had been held up in china and would be here in soon.I was not happy with this and they agreed to a refund, again stating that thier policy meant it would be 7-10 days before I would receive this. Refund surprisingly never came!! I have subsequently learned this had been similar practices they have used with a number of thier customers. Shocking behaviour!!! Avoid red suanas at all costs!!!!

Ordered a sauna from this company at the beginning of December. Phoned them 12 times and got a different story every time. Cancelled the order in February and asked for a refund which wasn't forthcoming. They've now gone into liquidation and have taken our money. It looks as though it was a scam from the start and the staff knew all about it. Dreadful experience and goodness knows how people like this can live with themselves.

“Bought a Bjorn Tokyo 200 infrared sauna steam shower...”

Bought a Bjorn Tokyo 200 infrared sauna steam shower in early October 12, never received. They always POLITELY (probably part of their tricks) provided lots of excuses for not being able to deliver the goods to us ... Firstly they were waiting for delivery from China; then there was a quality issue so we needed to wait for another delivery for another 2 months (promised us to deliver before Xmas); then the manufacturer in China sent the wrong container which should have been sent to the US, so another 2 months (promised to deliver by Jan); then harbour in China frozen due to winter snow storms so promised to deliver in early Feb (hoho picking some current news as an excuse); then due to missing shipping documents and it was Chinese New Year so we had to wait for another 3-4 weeks (also promised another £50 discount, sounded so kind!!!); then promised delivery by 1 March but delayed again due to backlog ...... we were fed up and asked for refunds ..... they POLITELY AND PROMPTLY agreed to refund but their company policy is 7-10 working days. TODAY (Apr 13) .... never received any refunds ....Can we trust them anymore??????? If you have the same experience, you better get a refund and report them to the local trading standards office, and report them to BBC watchdog. Also keep all the correspondence as evidence. By the way, they once claimed they have over 20 years of experience. Also told me that they have had a long trading record.

Phoned the business centre where they are based and was told they have gone into liquidation .All our goods are stuck at Tilbury docks and have been there since January. So frustrating I really wanted my shower :( If you paid with a credit card get in touch with your card company to try and get a refund

Had exactly the same experience. We are now out of pocket to the value of £869 with no recourse. We raised a claim with the bank within 120 days of paying of the item and are waiting to hear if we can get our money back.
