after seeing the price of awnings on various websites, a friend told me about primsose. i found website very easy to use and found the 4.5 M awning i wanted at a very good price, delivery was next day, and the quality of awning was outstanding. we fitted up on wall and are very pleased with the product.we will be ordering from primrose again in the near future. “Very Poor Service”

Ordered £160 worth of goods on 8 April which were offered as next day delivery. Nothing materialised. I have called numerous times to be told that the supplier wasn't answering his or her phone. Finally was told that the supplier was having trouble with the supply chain. Poor customer service in the sense that they didn't communicate back to me and if you do buy from Primrose, make sure they actually have the items and aren't selling on for another supplier. Incredible to think that two plastic credit card warning signs costing 70p have a carriage charge of £4.95, 7 times the cost of the product itself... for something that will fit in a normal envelope! Outrageous but I paid it as I needed the item quickly but next time I would shopa round to find a more reasonable charge for postage! (read more)

I placed an order with Primrose for over £800 on Wednesday expecting the same excellent service I have had previously. However, despite emailing them twice and speaking to them twice over the phone I have had no confirmation of my order by email and no tracking number. I was promised same day despatch on the 12 grass topiaries but they did not arrive yesterday. I received a telephone call saying they would arrive in 8 days, far too late for my purposes. £800 is a lot of money to depart... (read more)

I must, however, echo the adverse comments about the assumption that everyone has, or uses, a mobile telephone. On website, product presentation excellent, prices for "bulk" purchases very welcome, help notes very good, BUT why does checkout prefer mobile phone number to landline? My mobile lives in the car which was out at the time and I can't remember the number . My order was rejected until I put my landline number in the mobile box, whereupon the order whizzed through. What exactly are you complaining about? I've always found Primrose an excellent company to deal with both in terms of value and service.
You have placed an order and received assurances that it will be dispatched for next day delivery but that doesn't appear good enough for you and so you've given them one star on the basis that you possibly / maybe / might not receive the goods. They will not be able to provide an exact delivery time as that is down to the courier company / Post Office.
What exactly are you expecting from them?
