Unfortunately this company seems to be a target. I don't find these reviews to be accurate at all. We had very good experience, delivery, workmanship slate quality excellent sign all round. Still going strong despite being knocked over by some cows!(Now re erected)

After my order was placed heard nothing back, does not respond to emails, never answers the phone or responds to emails This person only responds after opening a case with the 3rd partly payment handler, but it's nothing more than empty words and no intention of completing a single order, I paid for the premium service being a delivery within 5working days and other it's now been over a month now and I really do not expect this order to be fullfilled as I've already contacted my credit card companies to recover the money, so in short do not use this company or any of the companies that this person trades under as he at prestige slate or premier slate is just out to rip you off. Just read all the many bad reviews before you get ripped off

Can't believe people still being ripped off your this set up. I reported them two years ago to trading standards. . Good luck !

One initial then a replacement sign received. Really poor quality paintwork - badly bubbled. First was blamed on our delay in unwrapping from packaging. Second was unwrapped immediately and same poor quality. Absolutely no response to my calls, emails, texts asking for refund. Black Holr! Don't be fooled by professional looking website. Avoid like the plague

Use at your peril. They stole my money, sent me nothing, change their name all the time and come up with excuses. The website is very professional and convincing. Avoid like the plague. Also called, premier slate, quality slate (latest name) bespoke slate etc etc...

Do not buy, how can these people still have websites that exist  everyone please report to trading standards! Let's get the site shut down

Sadly, I hadn't seen this site - if I had, I wouldn't have ordered!! As it was - placed an order and received a proof within a day. This was looking good. That was the last e-mail I have received. No sign, no contact - the website is dead and the phone number doesn't work. Luckily, I paid via PayPal so there is at least some hope of recovering monies via that route.

DO NOT LOSE YOUR MONEy by trying to buy from this fraudulent company..exactly the same experience, ordered, paid, no sign , no response.

We are baffled as to why these people are still allowed to trade. We complained over a year ago for non delivery and dishonesty from Premier Slate. It would be great to take a camera team over and film them while making their feeble excuses for being aload of smelly stuff ! As my dear Mother would have said..... they couldn't organise a booze up in a brewery! GET THEM OFF LINE AND DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO TRADE.....BEFORE ALL THOSE INNOCENT CHRISTMAS CUSTOMERS START ORDERING PRESENTS FOR LOVED ONES.

Thanks to all who have posted these reviews. We were about to order a very expensive sign for a charity and thankfully after reading these reviews we decided not to proceed with the order. I did however copy all of these comments and forward them on, on your behalf :)

Premier Slate also trade as: Quality Slate Signs Bespoke Slate House Signs Luxury Slate SignThese are all the various trading names of one man The website is slick and convincing but you are unlikely to ever receive your sign. In my case, the person I dealt with said he had made my sign but, because he had changed credit card processors, he had refunded my money - and asked me to pay again. Needless to say, the refund never arrived. Fortunately, I had smelled a rat, and did not pay again. He never delivered my sign, nor did he respond to any further queries - and still has my money. I am in the process of applying for chargeback of my credit card transaction. I wish I had searched The Complaints Board  before ordering. If you search under the above trading names you will read dozens of complaints about non-delivery of signs and other poor service. Avoid this company like the plague

I'm surprised that this company is still being allowed to operate. I did succeed in getting a sign from them in late 2014 but my attempts to buy another produced all the excuses highlighted in your reviews. I was contemplating legal action when I remembered that I had used Paypal and they refunded my outlay. Gareth seemed so pleasant on the phone, too!!! Surely the trading standards people have enough ammunition by now.

Took the money. Then emailed to say courier lost parcel. Said would deliver another by 7/07/15. Guess what? not received and not answering emails or telephone. These should be sued and closed down. Looking at my options.

This is the worst online buying experience I have ever had. Never received the sign and all communication ignored. Please do not buy from this website. I have contacted trading standards and they have had many many reports on the company and the various other names these conmen operate under. Please avoid.

Same as a lot of others - ordered sign, received template which was approved. Item didn't turn up, Gareth said he would chase the courier and haven't heard back since. Ordered 6 weeks ago...complained to Watchdog, local press and will then go to the police. Has anybody else made any progress with any complaints / 3rd party organisations? I sent this link to them all to show the scale that this was happening at and also emailed Gareth telling him the action that I had taken

AVOID THESE AT ALL COSTS. As with other customers of this site I placed an order a few weeks into 2015. Promised I would receive my order in 7-10 working days.... As of today May 1st 2015 I still haven't received them. I have emailed back and forth and been told they were shipped a few weeks after my order and they were surprised I had not received them. Gareth said he would chase up the courier and get back to me. He didn't. Another email was sent to them. No reply. And another. No reply. After a couple more finally a reply saying they would be remade and shipped to me... I'm still waiting. I don't expect to receive my signs or my money back as we paid via BACS as Gareth requested. Should have know then they were dodgy then. But I trusted them. Big mistake. Disappointed doesn't even come close. Actually considering legal action against them. They should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves.

DO NOT BUY from this website. You won't receive any goods. You won't get any contact from them at all. I've left countless messages and sent countless emails trying to progress my order. I've never had any response from them at all. I'll say it again DO NOT BUY from them.

Ordered slate in dec 2014..... Still waiting..... They were quick to take money and respond with automatic email and send a proof.....but after a number of emails and phone calls to find out where it is still No response. DO NOT USE!!!! You will be just throwing your money away to a total thief! Will be paying him a visit in the summer when I'm in the area!
