Avoid at all costs

We ordered over £1600 worth of items from Plumbworld in the summer. These were delivered without any breakdown just "2 pallets" were signed for. We have always agreed we got two pallets, one was full of items, the other had just a bath.
Unfortunately for a number of reasons we did not open the pallets immediately. However as soon as I opened the items, I realised exactly half my order was missing and contacted PlumbWorld. It was very clear that there should have been another pallet, and Plumbworld said this would have been with the bath- it wasn't (the bath was alone).
Plumbworld asked if I could have been robbed- which seemed a fair question but my property is gated, with CCTV and an alarm- I find it very strange if somebody broke in to the house and then only stole a toilet and shower taps etc. (leaving exactly half of the order).

Plumbworld explained that as I was outside the terms of business for queries, that I would need to buy all the items again - at a cost of £700.
I have an exact list of the items missing, so I asked for a breakdown of what was on each pallet - this would confirm one whole pallet wasn't delivered. Plumbworld refused to share any details of the pallets, and just kept repeating that because I was outside the agreed period I would need to purchase again.

I now find myself having to find £700 to buy the items again to enable my builders to fit my en-suite bathroom.

Plumbworld have great prices, but this comes at a cost should you ever need them to help you. I have been very disappointed at the lack of help. I just get told we signed for two pallets and everything was on those pallets- even though I can clearly prove one pallet wasn't delivered.

We are devastated and urge you to stay away from Plumbworld. Spend those few extra pounds to get a company that actually values its customers.
