How many companies can trade like Mysmartbuy.com or Eckman, and not be bought to justice, there should be tuffer trading standards, so that at least the customer can get some satisfaction. “Company In liquidation”

The electric motor on my 4-in-1 hedgetrimmer/chainsaw has failed after only one month and I wished to claim on the 12 month guarantee. MySmart Buy phone line has a recorded message saying the office is closed and will reopen on 31st March! I purchased an Eckman Lightweight 9ft 2¼ Long Reach Telescopic Hedge Trimmer for my Dad for Christmas...he went to use it for the first time last Saturday and it doesn't work! he's tried the manual to trouble shoot and checked the fuse and circuit but that's ok...clearly the product is faulty. These guys have had a permanent message on the voicemail since before the 31st March stating that their offices are now closed and will re-open on the 31st March. They have not re-opened and my item that I bought on the 22nd March is still not delivered. I am now wondering if the company has gone bust? Same here !!! We are left with a falty item and cannot contact them been trying for over a week iv even contacted The Mail which is where we purchased the item - they can't do anything - sooooo frustrating ! AVOID EVERYONE

Bought a garden swing seat for an eightieth birthday present, the seat frame rotted within 6 months. Contacted mysmartbuy who refused warranty because it was left outside in the rain! This was their ad: "It’s really the perfect luxury material for this kind of furniture and our kind of unpredictable weather. “Appalling Customer Service”

Having ordered a large garden power tool from mysmartby.com I have had a terrible time actually getting it delivered. The courier firm they insist on using TNT failed to delivery then lied straight out about not being able to delivery despite my wife taking a day of work and being home all day. It appears that some folks at MySmartBuy.com will do what they say they will do, after a bit of an ear-bashing, but how do they feel about those others who clearly don't give a damn?
