Great Walk in Greenhouse, awesome customer service would highly recommend

FAULTY PRODUCT - SHOCKINGLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE - AVOID Bought Christmas lights from them and they looked great, to begin with, they were nice and bright but after 2 days of being up, a big strip of lights failed. I reported to the supplier Cheaper Online LTD, that they were faulty, and they agreed on a return. They then emailed me to tell me they received the product, they tested them, and they were working fine so they will not be issuing a refund. What makes it even worse, they refused to return the product to me? Very questionable way of doing business. Judging by other reviews ONLINE this is not an isolated incident.

I ordered a large light up canvas from this company through their Ebay store. It arrived pretty quickly but i was shocked at how poorly it was packaged. They wrapped it in clingfilm and stuck my address label to that, nothing else!! It was clear to see what the product was and the clingfilm offered no protection at all. The canvas was faulty and had lights that did not light up. When i informed the company of the fault I was told that if i wanted a refund I would have to pay for the return myself. Even though it is faulty i would still have to pay for it myself and they would not refund that return postage. I said i didn't think that it was right that a customer who receives a faulty item has to pay themselves to return it and i just kept on getting the same reply from a person who clearly couldn't care less and flatly told me over and over that they did not refund return postage on faulty items. After about 10 emails back and forth with her i gave up and told her to forget it. She then replied and sarcastically said she hoped that Ebay could resolve my issue. I have since purchased the canvas from another company who were fantastic. But i am now stuck with a faulty canvas in the spare room and am out of pocket for that one. Thanks Cheaper-Online!!! Yes, I was being sarcastic there! I have heard many people say that they suspect this company sell "Seconds". I can believe this. And i also suspect that some Positive reviews on other review sites are Fake! Surely it's not legal to make people pay to return faulty items? I wonder what Trading Standards or Martin Lewis would make of this company? Needless to say i would never shop with Cheaper-Online ever again. If you have had a bad experience with them please leave a review here and warn other potential customers. Companies like this that do not care about their customers need to be put out of business.

Asked a question before I purchased them and had a prompt reply. They also contacted me after the purchase to make sure I had received the goods OK.

I ordered a pack of weights to keep my gazebo stable during high winds. They arrived 3 days later all safe and sound, no issues. I had been looking for these things at various garden centres etc without any joy but here they were on this site.

Really happy with my purchase. Lights look great really bright and you can change the light setting. I have set them up in a wooden lanton instead of having a candle burning.

Warning. If returning a faulty item be aware they will not refund postage. If purchased via eBay return via eBay and you will. My initial experience of cheaper online was good. Item arrived promptly and I could track easily. The problem ensued when I tried to return a faulty item. I bought two camping stools. The stitching split on one after one use. It was in immaculate condition. I purchased through eBay but as I was happy to accept an exchange thought it might be easier to deal with the company direct. When they received the item they immediately agreed a refund. I had really wanted an exchange and as this product was no longer available had even suggested an alternative on the return slip. The stool was just over £7. The cheapest postage to return the item due to the size was £5 so the refund ended up being £2. I emailed several times as I felt I was entitled to a postage refund. The company refused. I contacted eBay and they said if I had returned via them I would definitely be entitled to a postage refund. They advised I contact PayPal as they might be able to assist. They were able to refund my postage and reaffirmed I should have had a postage refund. Make sure you return via eBay.

I bought the same lights last year and decided to purchase another two sets. Brilliant product and brilliant service. The lights are excellent and easy to handle when decorating the Christmas Tree. I Have purchased 4 x 1500 LED lights in all as my tree gets bigger every year. I have also bought 2 x 1500 Cluster lights for my outside tree. Multi functional and robust and the warm white is great for indoor trees. The lights now come with an in built timer which can be turned on or off and is great for outdoor use. No more changing bulbs or trying to find the one that is faulty, no more stress. The price is excellent and cheaper than anywhere else. The service as usual is excellent and product delivered on time. I can honestly say that in my view this is the best online experience because they make it so easy. Well done everyone, no doubt i will be back to purchase more lights next year as i am planning something a bit bigger next year.

Reasonably priced product but none the less of good quality. Arrived a couple of days after I had ordered them. I am very pleased with our purchase and the service that I received. Will definitely use again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Do not deal with this company EVER! They send broken, damaged goods , badly packaged, they do not collect insisting you return them and pay for the cost ! Offer febel and weak excuses for their monumental imcompentence . I am taking them to the small claims court and will post an update .

The product was half the price of a similar product I had previously purchased from a high street store. However it was of much inferior quality. Flimsy fabric and one of the wooden items was split. The manufacturer must have been aware of the split because they had spray "painted" over it. The supplier wouldn't have been aware of the fault. Disappointing.

I found this company to be rude and extremely unhelpful. They have no interest in keeping the customer happy. They do everything possible to avoid paying the return postage costs.

I ordered some Christmas lights as a gift for my Mother in Law. The goods arrived in a bashed, torn and damaged product box and singly posted in a plastic bag. Seller expects me to pay for the return postage. the people I dealt with  were very unhelpful and rude on the phone, questioning all my motives and needs and dismissing that it is unacceptable to be aent goods in such condition and then be expected to pay to return them when they had arrived as such. Made me very upset and angry because there was no acknowledgement or straightforward reaponsibility and very poor after sales service. Far better conpanies to use. Avoid this one as it your box arr Bes damaged, it will be in you and they expect YOU to pay to return or exchange it. Unbelievable!
