I have just had a quantity of Auburn aged oak flooring installed in my character pub. The job was not easy- bumpy floor with a variety of levels and bases to contend with. We got brilliant advice within the shop and given loads of time to choose our flooring. We decided to house a Birbek fitter who did an absolutely wonderful job and the floor looks amazing in out lounge, dinning room, kichen and hall. We were looking for something a little bit special for our oak floor and having been to many DIY stores and had many samples online it was only when we saw the range of products and finishes on offer at Birbek that we realised we should have begun our search there. I recently purchased an engineered oak floor from Birbek. i dealt with Henry who was extremely knowledgeable as well as showing genuine enthusiasm and passion for the product. We wanted the wood bleached white and distressed. I was given three samples to choose from and the flooring was completed on time. We recently had an oak parquet floor fitted into 2 rooms and a hallway, about 25 sq mtrs. Henry was very helpful, supplying samples and advising on alternative finishes. Craig, the fitter, visited our home to measure up, enabling Henry to supply an accurate quote and allowing us to discuss what preparation was required prior to fitting. I have used Birbeck for two separate projects and have found them to be extremely helpful and professional. The product they supply is first grade but the service they deliver is over and above expectation. He is very meticulous, neat and tidy as well as a nice guy. Henry at the shop is really helpful and organised eveything we needed quickly and efficiently. Used them years ago for engineered oak flooring for several rooms in the house - all of which still looks great. Called recently as we are extending one of those rooms and needed more of the same. Great service by the salesman Henry and everything ordered was correctly ready for collectlon the next day as I'd asked. Product laid easily within a few hours (14m2) and looks great. We've just had a parquet wood floor fitted in the hall and it's fantastic! Would highly recommend buying the floor form Birbek. We recently bought a floor from one of the big DIY stores and it is rubbish - total waste of money - go to Birbek for really good quality, value for money and excellent advice. They also gave us the name of the fitter who made an excellent job of fitting. We've fitted floors ourselves before, but would now recommend a professional - you really can see a difference... I've just had two rooms fitted with flooring from Birbek flooring in Leeds. The natural oiled oak parquet and natural oiled oak engineered planks look amazing! Bought a Herringbone design engineered wood floor for our lounge,dinning, hall and porch. Excellent salesmanship from Henry. Material was delivered on time and in excellent condition. Installer (Paul)came on the scheduled date and completed the job in two and half days and with great skills. Really happy to Birbek and would recommend everyone. One area of improvment will be to reduce the wastage by properly measuring and designing the material. Very expensive material to throw away. (read more)
