The chair had to be returned to the factory three times due to problems with the mechanism,. The factory have changed the mechanism for the second time and are trying to find out what caused the problem. The chair itself is brilliant and Thomas Lloyds have been excellent in trying to solve the problem.

many thanks for your comments.
The manufacturer of your electric reclining chair visited yesterday to inspect the faulty mechanism. He was just as dumbfounded as us and doesn't know or understand why this should have happened for a second time to your chair. This mechanism is patented and sold throughout the world - most manufacturers of reclining chairs use this mechanism - and we cannot offer an explanation as to why this should have occurred once, never mind twice.
Notwithstanding this, we have again replaced your mechanism and now hope that you can relax and enjoy your chair in the comfort intended for many years to come.
