At first glance the type of leather we purchased reminded us of plastic,we have a no grain leather material which we chose this is why it looked shiny like plastic. However it is built with quality and to last,now as it is softening with use it looks superb, it would grace the finest of homes, we love it and are glad that we bought it. Value for money and stylish - it certainly is.

Dear Wooten1983,
Stylish, quality and great value for money furniture is the Thomas Lloyd mantra.
We have been manufacturing and selling quality leather upholstery direct to the public only since 1981, so we know what gives us, and you, those best ingredients.
Good to note your comments on your initial thoughts of the leather type purchased and latterly now that it is softening and starting to developing its own natural characteristics. When customers often ask me about brand new products they see in our factory the comparison I try to give them is that a new leather suite is exactly like a new pair of leather shoes. Wear them for a while and you won't want to take them off!
