If you are looking to buy a sofa I would definitely not recommend sofology. Whilst the staff in store and delivery drivers are efficient the rest cannot be said about the product I received. I ordered my sofa in October last year to be delivered in time for Christmas. Yes I received my items with days to spare, the 22nd December in fact as that was one of the only slots available by the time I could book my delivery.
On the day of delivery my sofas promptly arrived at 08:30 which couldn't have been better, the delivery guys were curtious and even covered there boots so as not to damage my new carpet. Having ordered two sofas I was pleased sofa one was quickly set up and ready for use.
Then the problems began.
Sofa number two was assembled and I was quickly called in, as they had noticed two slash marks on the back of the sofa. They gave me two options: return the sofa there and then or someone could repair the sofa. Having quickly been put through to customer services I decided to have a repair job done as would be sorted within 6 weeks. It was either that or have no sofa to sit on over Christmas, which was not an option.
Having given sofology 6 weeks grace to hear back from them about when this would be sorted surprise surprise I was informed the "part" had not yet arrived.
It has taken my case going to the resolver centre to finally start getting some sort of response from sofology. Finally after 4 months of waiting the "part" was finally delivered. Having booked a time for the fitter to repair my sofa they duly turned up only for me to be told they were not qualified to do this repair and it actually needed a professional upholsterer to do this.
Before leaving the fitters assessed both my sofas only for me to be told that several of the arms were loose and it looked as if they had been dropped from a height.
Yet again another conversation with customer services insued and photographs taken of my sofas.
The resolution for me is to now wait for someone to come again to try to fix my sofa again.
I can't wait.
My advice to whoever reads this review is that if you are brave enough to buy a sofa from sofology and it's damaged on arrival, send it back with the delivery guys it's sure to be sorted out quicker and don't pay upfront for the sofa like I did because once they have there money they are just not interested.
