I recently purchased two Vantage Sofas from Sofaworks in Leeds. The shop assistant advised me that the Vantage sofas they had on show were two years old and still looked like new - which they did. However after two months the sofas look worn and shabby despite being advised that all that was required to keep them looking like new was to fluff up the cushions on a regular basis. The leather has stretched to such an extent that no amount of fluffing up will restore it to it's original state. My partner and I both work all day with no kids or pets at home. The sofa gets used in the evening for a few hours and at weekends.
We have complained to sofawork's head office and following an inspection we have been advised that the sofas are structurally sound and we have to accept the way they looks despite the fact that they bear no resemblance to what we saw in the show room or were led to believe. To summarize we are very unhappy with our purchase and are writing this review to warn other prospective buyers of our experience.

I'm in the same situation as you are bought a vantage sofa from the leeds store and when it came it were totally different leather looked as you said shabby and the one I have as been buffed to hide scars that much it's smooth no leather look, we've had the expert out and he says there's nothing wrong with it and the creases on the base are normal even though all three of the vantage sofas in the leeds branch are perfect, he said that I'm asking too much from a sofa, this expert told me he's never seen the sofa in the leeds branch so how can he compare?
Customer service keep fobbing me off and are rude try to instigate a row over the phone also won't let me speak to management.
This company should be on rouge traders, but I'm not prepared to just lay down I'm going to court and informed the bank to challenge the payment,
I've also asked to swap mine with the one in the shop but they refused.
