Ordered a corner sofa and 3-seater settee from SCS in October. Rang SCS in March, was quoted a delivery date of 27-04-15 (today). Took the day off work. After lunch I rang SCS for approximate delivery time. Was told the sofas weren't even being delivered until early May. A second SCS employee told us delivery would be 11 May. We have already disposed of our old sofas. Are we supposed to sit on the floor for a fortnight? This is NOT acceptable, especially for our disabled daughter who is in constant pain. Do SCS care? No. They said they haven't done anything wrong as the order form states 'Estimated Lead Time - End of April'. That isn't even the issue. Two members of staff, one at the Birstall branch and one at the Huddersfield branch quoted us 'verbally' an exact date of 27 April 2015. A verbal delivery date is still breach of contract.

IMPORTANT - Please read the reviews of people that have received their goods, or people who have been let down regarding delivery not just those of people reviewing the service of the store at the time of ordering - of course SCS's service is good when they want you to place an order - it's their after sales service which you need to be worried about. Better still, a Google search will tell you that not only is it common place for SCS to not deliver on time, there are countless stories of poor quality sofas.
Don't waste your money.
