This is an email I have just sent SCs....
Upon making my purchase at your Gallows Corner, Romford shop I was was
advised by the salesman, MOHAMMED, that my existing sofa & chair would
be taken away by the delivery men when they delivered my purchase from
When the delivery men arrived I told them I had furniture to be
removed and they said that's not what they do as they have no
insurance. The driver rang his office and was transferred to the
Gallows Corner shop. I spoke with the Sales Manager, SIMON, and he
concurred what the driver had said.
He told me that he would sit down and have a word with MOHAMMED as he
shouldn;t be saying what he said. Big deal is what I have to say to
that. I am left with a suite I need to remove as your employee
blatantly lied in his sales pitch to make the sale.
I would like to know exactly what SCS are going to do about this
situation as it looks as if you are employing conmen who will say
anything to make a sale. At this point I would highly recommend to
anybody that asks me, that they never use SCS as the Sales staff can
obviously not be trusted.
I had 2 plumbers here at the time working on the house and they both
heard everything that went on, and they have said they'd never use you
because of this.
It kind of makes a mockery of your "Guarantee and Care Guide", as you
obviously don't care as you allow the Sales staff to say whatever they
like in order to sell.
I would very much appreciate somesort of response to this as I truly
believe your companies ethics are questionable.
As a footnote, MOHAMMED advised us to pay 25 pound for a Leather Care
Kit which we didn't receive..He really must be up there for Salesman
of the Year!!
