Best Furniture Ever

Whilst decorating our living room my wife and I went to Oak Furniture Land just to have a look at what was on offer and we're glad we did. We wandered around the store without any pestering from staff which was such a relief as it allowed us to browse at our pace not theirs. We opened draws and peered in cupboards for well over an hour and all we were asked was if we were ok and if we wanted a drink. That said staff were always close at hand if we needed more information on an item we asked, were answered and left alone again. Having decided on what we wanted we had to return home to measure up to make sure the furniture would actually fit in our living room, but so impressed with what we'd seen we were soon back in the store later the same day to buy our Rustic Oak furniture. During the purchase phase the extended warranty was pushed quite hard which was a little annoying, however, we did actually take it out (normally we wouldn't) but this furniture is so nice and looks so good, our two extremely active granddaughters would soon change that so the peace of mind was necessary. Happy with our purchase we left for home and were surprised to receive a text informing us that our furniture could be delivered eight days later (amazing when compared some other so called reputable furniture companies).
Right on cue eight days later we had a call to say our delivery less than an hour away.
Now lets talk about the packaging. We have never, ever seen such well packed, well protected items. Every item came in a thick corrugated cardboard box, inside everything was wrapped in a polystyrene sheet and every edge had thick polystyrene cushioning protecting it. Most impressive though was the inch thick rigid corrugated cardboard sheet that protected every finished top. The proof of how good this packaging was, was clear to us because one of our items, a TV unit had sustained damage, or at least we thought it had as one corner of the packaging was completely crushed inwards. However when we opened it up the unit was in perfect condition. The cardboard packaging had crumpled inwards acting like the crumple zone on a car and protecting the contents excellently.
There was only one thing that let everything down and that was we had to phone up and ask for our extended warranty documentation which was down to poor administration.
Since our purchase, both our son and daughter and their respective partners have purchased from Oak Furniture Land and we have plans to return to purchase new bedroom furniture next month.
A superb shopping experience but most importantly simply the best ever furniture we have ever owned. Thanks Oak Furniture Land.
