Terrible Customer Service

We bought two baku beds for our holiday cottage. I arranged for them to be delivered well in advance of when they were required, as we only have one week to do the annual maintenance and they said it could take upto 21 days to arrive. I checked that all the boxes were present.

One bed went together well and the fittings were fine. The second bed had different fittings on the head board, they did not match the side ones. The wood was of poor quality and some of the screws on the fixings were into fresh air, The wood had not been filled. Due to time constraints we had to buy different fixings and go ahead put the beds up anyway. The wood was also a very different colour to that in the picture.

When I phoned to complain the next working day the person on the phone said that there was nothing they could do to help me because it had gone over the week time allowed from delivery and that I should have phoned before. One week is too short a time for distance selling and in this situation I could not have phoned before.

She was rude and shouted over me when I was talking. She was not interested in what I was saying and she clearly did not want to help in any way. Her attitude was unhelpful rude and I will never buy any thing from this company again.
