I'm not one to complain as I run an online company myself and I know how reviews should be taken with a pinch of salt but this purchase and company has been a bit of a disaster for me. No idea why, placed my order on Jan 5 and I still don't have it???!!! the date online in my account keeps moving back and I keep getting no product, they (made.com) keep telling me it's worth waiting for??? “Website wouldn't process my order- reported it- was...”

The website wouldn't take my order - it kept throwing up errors saying fields in my address were blank when they clearly were completed correctly right before my eyes. I took the time to report this to Made.com, but I heard nothing back at all. All I got were 2 reminder emails telling me to check-out. These were useless, as I couldn't check out, and annoying, as I'd taken the time to report the problem and been ignored. I used Made to order several big and small items of furniture. It took approx 3-4 months to deliver everything which is longer than I expected, but I was prepared to accept this given the price. What I was not prepared to accept was the build quality. I bought 2 of their bar stools and one broke within 4 days of use. It was made with cheap materials and the top just came off. I bought two chairs from made.com and they were beautiful. The site has amazing photos and its very ecommerce driven. It is also true that they wont tell you until you have already chosen the product and agreed to the price, while you are getting through the check out process, oh surprise! It takes them 14 weeks to deliver the items. As a newbie i decided to go on the adventure of lets get on with it, they make it from scratch no? At the moment, I have to agree with you. We purchased our sofa a month or so ago and its not wearing at all well. I have contacted them and am awaiting a response. The cushion seats are flattening and already looking old! If I get a good response from the company, I'll return to amend this review in a more positive light. I thought the price was reaonabe because of the lack of a middle-man not because cheap cushion materials are being used.
