There were a number of issues with an order I placed through Lights & Furniture - including being given wrong information about when deliveries would arrive. However, they have since gone out of their way to apologise for the mistakes and have explained how and why things went wrong. Businesses and delivery companies are never going to be perfect every time, but when the reaction to problems is this kind and understanding, it shows a level of customer care that others could learn... Unfortunately when picking the items this can happen due to the product codes being so similar.

“Great value for money furniture”

I bought an oak two door cupboard online and in the order confirmation email I was offered a choice of delivery dates. Email updates were informative and the furniture arrived promptly. Highly delighted with my purchase - top notch furniture and I consider excellent value for money. Will definitely use again. (read more)

Buying through Lights and Furniture was a positive experience. They were helpful and polite, replied to calls and emails promptly because I had quite a few queries initially. I would particularly like to mention how helpful Dale was throughout the process. “AVOID THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY!!”

I concur with the other bed reviews on this site! I ordered 2 bedside tables and a bed from lights and Furniture, after about a week the bedside tables and just the side rails for the bed were delivered. When only the side rails were delivered I immediately rang the company who decided to blame the delivery company, with further investigation I deciphered that the bed was incorrectly sorted at the warehouse (not incorrectly delivered by the delivery company). Thank you for taking the time to submit a review about us and we are sorry to hear that you have had a bad experience with Lights and Furniture.

Unfortunately in this case it seems as though the delivery company were at fault and not our warehouse. This was due to the item part being wrongly routed to the wrong depot, but we do take full responsibility for this.

We understand how inconvenient this is, but from time to time this can happen and we try to do what we can to resolve issues as quickly as possible.

I can see that you were offered a full refund at all points during the process, which you declined, but you have now received your order in full and as far as we are aware you are very happy with it.

With regards to the customer service issue, this is something that we are currently looking into as this is totally unacceptable.

Avoid this company like the plague!! I have had much the same problems as the previous two unhappy customers. Placed an order, money taken at once. So far so good. But unfortunately it went downhill fast after that. A week later my order is still showing as "being processed" with no hint of a delivery date. If this is not the image you want to portray then it would be advisable to stop doing it!!! I never received the chest of drawers I ordered so requested a full refund, and nearly month later I still do not have MY MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!! And I have seriously lost count of the times I have left messages and been told someone will call me back!!

Absolutely terrible terrible customer service! Now please give me MY MONEY back!

“Terrible customer service, poor communication”

I ordered 2 products from this company. Delivery is supposed to be within 5-7 working days. After 7 days my order was still being processed. I called up to see what was going on and I was told that one bookcase was out of stock, but the other was on its way. I was also told if i had not received it within 15 working days i would receive a 10% discount. That day I received an email saying that the bookcase had been dispatched. It arrived after a few days.
