Also ordered a leather footstool, and waited nearly seven months. I've written many emails, most of which have been ignored, and made countless phone calls during which I've been fobbed off, lied to, laughed at and, most recently, hung up on. The only upside is that I ordered off Living Social, and didn't have any of the problems others seem to have had with KGB and Wowcher with getting the money back there. Nothing positive to say about this company - as with others, the ordered sofa never materialised. I was lucky to get my money refunded through Wowcher but am still chasing for refund of £40 delivery charge which I am not expecting to get back. I think over 1000 people went for this deal so if they have kept the delivery charge on every unfulfilled order, they will be doing quite nicely - I hope it is worth it as your reputation is now trashed. I think you are still lucky because you can refund and I think you can refund £40 of delivery charge as well or another title (thief) should be bestowed to LFS. They are already bunco artist.
I've received £400 of fake leather chesterfield sofa on last October, and it is not worthy as £400 of sofa at all.
I'm very sure all customers who bought this damn deal from KGB and Wowcher expected to receive the luxurious and gorgeous of real leather chesterfield sofa and nobody doubted it is fake leather sofa but LFS scammed to deliver the fake leather sofa with thousand of lies. This damn sofa is not only fake leather but very bad quality, it is already flatted even it is just 5 months.

I wish that I had read reviews like this before ordering a footstool via Living Social in October last year. I still have nothing. I have built a considerable Email trail and have managed to get through to LFS by telephone once, which is when they took a further £9.99 for delivery erlier in the process. The above person was lucky as Living Social have been less than helpful, sending only automated responses to my requests for help,information or refund. I've come to the conclusion that no footstool will be forthcoming, and in any case, I'm not sure that I particularly want it now as the "Shine" has gone off the idea. It does beg the question "Why do voucher companies colude with businesses like this?"

I think these voucher companies have got a bit greedy - taking any firm onto their books to make more money. Wowcher say they made all their precautionary checks with LFS but I think they should review their policy as it clearly did not protect us, the consumer, in this instance. Now I'm very wary about buying anything from these voucher companies and I always do a full review before parting with any money. Living Social should refund you for the cost of the footstool as you made a contract with them - threaten them with Trading Standards, Watchdog and hopefully you'll get your money back - good luck!

I strongly suggest you to refund it as soon as possible because it is fake leather sofa which has no unworthy for £400 of sofa at all.

I have the same issue. I got it through LivingSocial and didn't get it within 6 weeks as promised and then messed me about with delivery day and for some reason couldn't even get a tracking number from the courier. Dodgy as hell. When I sent an email to LivingSocial about the merchant (LFS) not sending me the items and sent them a link to this page of reviews they LivingSocial refunded the money but refused to help me get a refund on Delivery charges from the merchant. I have been calling LFS almost ever day now to get the delivery charge refunded. It's promised to be sent the next day every time I call.

I have had a refund from LSD and spoken to the director of LFS but feel that the postage is lost. I have been well and truly scammed on this but might decide to visit the address in London on my next trip to the city. On the other hand is it worth the hassle for £9.99.
I have spoken to the citizens advice who tell me that they will investigate if they get more complaints. LSD refused to talk to me as my wife was the registered customer, even after she contacted them they said they could only deal with her due to Data protection, In other words they found me difficult (as if).

I managed to get a refund on the postage as well after 2 weeks of constantly calling them. I did remember that I paid using paypal and disputed the transaction saying I did not receive item. I called paypal to find out why th money was refunded and they said it was only because I disputed. Had I not disputed the transaction on Paypal, I would not have got the money back. The other thing you could do is start charge back proceedings with the bank (card) used (If you didn't use paypal to pay for it)

Worst service ever, took nearly 18 weeks to get the Lisbon sofa with stool. Valued at £1200, but no way would I have paid full price for this. Poor quality, uncomfortable and the cushions are too narrow. As for the service, "shocking". Called every week for 10 weeks with the same old excuse. I received my order last Friday after waiting since 4th Nov on arrival of the suite I inspected it, the stool lining was torn a 10 by 10 inch rip. The legs on the sofa where put on crooked, the whole suite was shoddy, bad quality, noway could this suite have had a value of £1,999. LFS will deliver fake leather sofa so if you do not want to receive the fake leather sofa, at first you'd better cancel it before they arrange the delivery.

I will chip in to help costs as this company needs stopping. As you say, it is not slander if what is written is true, and 38 people cannot be wrong. The hand needs forcing!
I am cc KGB and LFS so they are aware of our thoughts and actions as I feel action ought to be taken against KGB also as they have not scrutinised this thoroughly enough.

You should know many customers who bought your product get big disappointment because we received fake leather sofa.
You did not clearly indicate at the voucher this is fake leather sofa.
If we knew it is fake leather sofa, we would not decide to buy it. Actually I was looking for "real" leather of chesterfield sofa and I thought it is very good deal that why I paid but the received sofa is fake leather sofa, can you insist you did the fair trade to us?
Also LFS broke the contract (content of voucher is the contract) to make huge delay of delivery, and as a result of that, we all received fake leather sofa.
Note there are more bad deeds by LFS, as you already know!
Please consider more for your customers and decide how to compensate.

OMG, it has been a NIGHTMARE.
I was supposed to get the sofa in early December. Now on the said date, (name removed) (LFS) calls me to say that KGB had delivered me a full refund and thus could not deliver the sofa that was going to be delivered on this day! I checked my account, and indeed KGB had refunded me my money. Now I was in a dilemma - I actually still wanted the sofa as I'd waited so long! Patrice said if I wanted it, I could pay over the phone via credit card. After an hour or so of thinking I decided I would pay her and get the sofa delivered.
The sofa was supposed to arrive before 5pm. DID IT APPEAR? NO!!!!!!!
I called a few times but no answer. (name removed) had given me a mobile number for the driver. I called the driver. Initially he had said he would deliver it at a certain time. I called him after 5:30pm and GUESS WHAT HE HAD TO SAY? Apparently HE HAD BROKEN DOWN. I asked him where he had broken down and why he hadn't called me. He stammered (trying to think of a place of a name in London), before finally saying he had broken down in Chelsea! Not believing him for a second, I asked him what time he could come around to ensure that the sofa arrived on the same day. He said he could probably come by 10pm. It was a Friday night, and it's possible he assumed I would not be home around this time, because as soon as I said I would wait for him, he changed his story and said he couldn't deliver it today after all. I was ASTOUNDED! I asked him why and his reason was, he had to get back home, somewhere in the West Midlands. After having a shouting match with him, he just hung up and refused to answer the phone. I was fuming and called up LFS, (name removed) answered and after explaining what just happened, she said she would call him and call me back. After 10 minutes she did call me and said that she couldn't get through to the driver and that she can just keep trying. As I was getting ABSOLUTELY SICK of this utter nonsense, I said to her that if the sofa did not appear sometime before Monday, I would want a FULL REFUND.
Monday came and went. No sofa. I phoned LFS and demanded a refund. She said she would put it through. Waited a week. No refund. Phoned again. This time, the reason was apparently because someone called Mr Howard was not in the office and he could only issue refunds.
Waited another week for this (name removed) to issue a refund.
No refund. Called again. Same story.
Now this happened around early December. So I was out of pocket by nearly £500 for nearly 5 or 6 weeks!
Eventually after Christmas I tried again. LFS did not open until 07.01.2013. I phoned up nearly every other day for this refund, being promised that it'd been done or it was going to be done.
I eventually spoke to (name removed) around the 09th of January 2013. He promised me a refund and that he would put it through on that day or the day after.
I waited again. Checked my account this morning (15/01/13) and *RELIEF* they had FINALLY refunded me the full amount.
So the saga ends a half a year later.
For all those that have had the same issues, I urge you to carry on with your complaints. I suggest you contact the Financial Ombudsman. I also urge you to go to this website - Moneywise - and see if you can get a complaint going using them.
I am thinking of how I can complain and get this wretched company off the high street.

Was very tempted to purchase a suite from Leather Fabric Sofas after having received an offer from Wowcher. But after reading all the reviews from people who bought via kgb, I am definitely not going to order any sofas from this company. If you still did not receive the sofa, then I suggest you to call LFS to confirm whether or not the sofa is "real" leather sofa. In my case, they delivered the sofa after waiting of 4 months but delivered sofa is not "real" leather sofa. There is no "real" leather smell at all which means this is fake leather.
Also they did not attach the receipt and quality certification etc. Maybe they cannot issue those because this is fake leather sofa.
So once receive it, you will get another nightmare so please don't receive it before you can confirm it is "real" leather sofa.

Hello all, Well - i have to say, they DO deliver! We received ours 2 weeks ago and it is really nice. They have a very small van, so that might explain the length of time we all have had to wait. But rest assured, they are not a bogus company that runs with your money. I think it is more the classic case of not being able to cope with having a 'deal' on KGB, i bet they were inundated. we have just received our first sofa delivery today after months of unanswered emails and telephone calls to LFS and not to mention masses of emails to KGB, which resulted in very frustrating automated replies, many of them say that my issue had been resolved, when it clearly hadn't. Would you please tell me the current status of your refund process? Is it ongoing without any problem?
In my case, I've decided to buy the £400 of voucher because £400 is good deal for £1800 of retail price of chesterfield sofa and I did not doubt it is fake leather sofa that's why I bought it. In the UK's market, we can buy "real" leather of chesterfield sofa about £1000. From Tesco, it is £600. So I think everybody thought that £1800 of chesterfield sofa is not fake leather sofa but The reality proved different unfortunate for us. LFS delivered us the fake leather of chesterfield sofa. How we can accept that? It is definitely fraudulent business!
So I've asked LFS to issue the quality certification for the delivered sofa about 10 days ago and they agreed to issue that but still they didn't send it to me. I think they cannot issue the because delivered sofa is fake leather sofa. If they issue the certification that it is "real" leather sofa, then that should be another evidence for their crim. If they issue the certification as it is "fake" leather, then this is also the evidence for their crim because £1800 of chesterfield sofa should not be "fake" leather.
I also asked KGBDEALS to show their official opinion for this issue because LFS's fraudulent business has been done via KGBDEALS therefore they should have strong responsibility for the customers who bought the voucher from KGBDEALS for LFS's fake sofa.
I believe LFS should get some legal punishment for their bad deed and we should not give up. Of course just give up is also one of option for us but please note if this fake leather is made by polyurethane, the life of this sofa is just few years which is worst case scenario as the £400 of sofa.

Hi we have had the sofa picked up by LFS after we told them that we would charge storage at £25 per day, we have also just received a email from KGB saying that LFS have refunded our delivery cost but we have had no sign of any money coming back to us. we still have not had a refund for the costs of the vouchers so we are thinking of going down the route of small claims court so if this happens there is strength in numbers, we will keep you informed of any further developments

I've had the same unfortunate experience as many of you and have had advice from both the CAB and Action Fraud. Today, after another of my several attempts to contact the company, I asked the woman on the phone for both her name and the name of the delivery company. Her response was that she didn't know any of the answers right now and she'd call me back later. I was wondering the same thing - do we know if the company has a factory at all? Are there people working there? Also similarly the 'delivery company'? Federico? I just waited at home for a whole day from work - amazed that my sofas might turn up after 7months. I called the delivery company to check only to be told that there had been a vehicle breakdown and they were sorry that my delivery wouldn't happen that day....more lies? I ordered my Chesterfield sofa from Leather Fabric Sofas over 3 months ago and was told I would have delivery within 3 weeks! As many people have done I ordered the Lisbon Corner Sofa from LFS, on the 28th of July and paid the delivery costs on the same day. I have received my sofa....6 months, 70 phone calls to merchant and KGB but can never get through there! Countless emails and hours of my time,......but the sofa is excellent at first look and feel. Worth waiting for? Not sure, but it is good value. When I spoke with the manager, he did make more sense...(name removed) is as good as a chocolate fire guard. She blamed the delivery co who are called FURDECO and they can be contacted on 08712885010 . They seem reputable but were not delivering because the merchant was not paying them for deliveries so they would never give you the number...clever to blame them. This non payment happened to me and when I called them, the manager spilled the beans.
You might be able to get through to KGB better by contacting the customer service manager directly.

It appears not to be leather...the company will not offer a certificate of authenticity and were very rude on the phone. I feel a group effort is needed to force this company to come clean and pay up for 6 months of continual hassle with LFS , and P . in particular.
