I ordered a dining room table and a corner sofa in December, I was told that the delivery on the table would be 6 weeks and the sofa 14 weeks. After 9 weeks of waiting for the table I telephoned customer services for a delivery date, they told me that someone would ring me back within 48 hours, two weeks later and I was still waiting. I telephoned again and was told that yes as it was now 11 weeks from the purchase date that they would look into the matter and telephone me back. Another two weeks pass so I telephone again explaining that now also the sofa is due, by the sound of the assistants voice she really could not be bothered, she said she would put me through to dispatch then the phone went dead!!!
Each time that I have telephoned the customer service number I have explained my complaint in a calm and polite manner with the attitude that it is not the assistants fault, however the members of staff at the other end do not seem to have this regard as all of them came across with I can't really be bothered attitude.
When you have to pay for an item 14 weeks before you receive it, you kind of hope that the service and customer care will be worth it. I am still waiting for my table and sofa with the hope that the quality does not prove a disappointment as well. I am tempted to ask for a refund but I can imagined what a battle that would be.....
