“please dont buy”

Purchased two 3 seater deco sofas in February this year, was told possibly 8 weeks but they gave a lead time of 12-14. No one EVER called us to update us, and on week 12 we called and they said it had been held up at the docks, and would be another week, then a week later we called and it was now delayed in the far east!! must be on a world cruise!!! then we were told it would be delivered in a few weeks now May, and then were told it was YES again delayed. First time ever to get a call we were told it would be delivered on Saturday 2nd June, now 19 weeks..and on Friday evening were told it had yes been delayed and would now be on Wednesday. We had enough at this point and called to complain, but were told we had to take it up with the store we ordered. We then went over to the store and requested our £200 deposit back, the manager was un-responsive letting his assistant do the talking who gave us numerouse excuses and that we could not have our money back, I had been in touch with trading standards who had told us that we were infact entitled to it back and I told the assistant this, they agreed that if it did not arrive this week (Wednesday) we could have our refund. This was now 20weeks since ordering. Let me ask people if 1000 customers had paid £200 deposits for 20weeks in there bank account just look at the amount they were accumulating and possible interest from our money. Anyway, Wednesday arrived and hurray we received our two sofas. The drivers unpacked them and revealed damage to both of them. We had to accept them but I would not sign to say they were OK, the driver called customer services who then came on to the phone to say a technician would come and look at them but not for 2 weeks, I had to have a day off again, and he did not come until 5pm (more money lost on my end)..He tried to get blue marks, scuffs and two insect bites embedded on the leather which he said was wear and tear due to the animal being bitten, I dont think so they are on the arm of the sofa and very noticeable. He left and then on Monday this week I got a call from Harveys to say they had sanctioned him to come back to try again, no way am I having more time off for something he could not do already, after some huffing and puffing they said they would order two new suites (THEY WERE BRAND NEW ALREADY) and yes folks another 14 weeks for delivery, but get this we are allowed to use these sofas until the next episode....I am sure there will be another episode after reading all these reviews which I wish I had read firstly...PLEASE GO ELESWHERE THIS COMPANY ARE NOT CURTIOUS, AND YOU GET THE BLAME FOR THERE MISTAKES. ALSO YOU HAVE TO PAY FULL BALANCE FOR THE ITEMS BEFORE THEY ARE RECEIVED THIS CANNOT BE RIGHT...They also promised to send an email to me this week to say that we were to have new sofas and no email has been received..IF YOU WANT ALL THIS UPSET AND FAULTY GOODS THEN THESE ARE YOUR COMPANY IF YOU WANT NICE THINGS GO TO OTHER DEALERS

same story as mine only i paid in cash 0ne thousand five hundred and and all they offered me was 59 pound delivery charge back am not going to stop till i get my money back i waited 4 months for first deco and then 5 half months for the next one and that was worse than the first so lets hope we get some good news back from trading standers but i know i will fight them all the way
