Just an update on my bedroom furniture. After 12 years now, it looks a mess. It was looking a mess in 2008. The veneer is hanging on to the wardrobe door with a coat hanger. The chest of drawers can go on the tip! The times I have complained about it and no one cares. Allways the same answer, out of gaurantee!!When purchased, I thought this would last many years to come. But now I do not know what to do. It really is a mess! If I had read the write ups about Hammonds, I would never have bought from them!I do not recommend Hammonds furniture and there was particularly nothing I like about it!

Really sorry to hear you feel this way and that your furniture is in need of repairs. Unfortunately our guarantee is for 10 years so it's difficult for us to cover the costs of repairs after this time. we were very happy 12 years ago but now the veneer is also hanging off and we have contacted Hammonds for suggestions/ help but looking at this we don't hold out much hope... will write our own review in a couple of days when we know their response!

we also have Hammonds wardrobes that have the veneer hanging off after 12 years. We have just contacted them today for any suggestions/ help but looking at this I don't hold out much hope.
