I found the Hammonds' team a delight to work with from beginning to end. The designer was very professional and attentive to our requirements, and his drawings were a delight to behold. The administrative team was polite and helpful - we had to postpone our installation date by 3 weeks because our new carpet had been delayed. This must have been very inconvenient for Hammonds, but they were very understanding of our predicament and rearranged an alternative date to suit us. We were kept fully informed of date and expected arrival time of the fitter and everything went like clockwork. The fitter was courteous and focussed - a very tidy and organised worker, as well as being an excellent tradesman. Finally, I would add that we are delighted with our new fitted bedroom from Hammonds and would gladly recommend the company to anyone thinking of revamping a room in their home.

I can only assume that the title 'pernickity' is aimed at those customers who are unhappy with their service.
I am pleased that you have had excellent service with Hammonds
however with all of our furniture parts faulty and ill fitting
4 days of fitting and still parts unavailable [3 drawers and replacement plinths] over a period of over a month, damage to décor and having to cancel carpet fitting and bed delivery.
I certainly do not consider myself 'pernickity'
I do however have a bad back from sleeping on a mattress on the floor
for over a month and having to empty the room on x 3 occasions to date. Hammonds are returning this week again
the quality inspector apologised profusely when he saw the results of our first fitters ,attempts' this being accepted he certainly did not consider us 'pernickety.
