We wanted a walk in wardrobe in our bedroom, in the house we recently moved into. We contacted Hammonds, and the sales rep came round. We told the rep that we just wanted a walk in wardrobe in the bedroom, the rep started measuring up the whole bedroom. We asked her why she was measuring the whole bedroom up as we only wanted a walk in wardrobe.
The rep informed us that the computer wouldn't allow her just to quote for a wardrobe, and we might change our minds if we saw the plans for the whole bedroom.
All we wanted was a price for a walk in wardrobe, we asked for the quote be sent in the post, this was not possible as we would have to have a further meeting, where no doubt the rep would attempt to sell us something we didn't want.
I'm really disappointed that Hammonds think that they can send a sales person to my house, who completely ignored what I wanted to buy, and instead tried to sell me something I don't want.
Hammonds have lost my business forever
