I ordered £250 worth of stuff from habitat online on 16 August. The stuff is fine - I'd bought some of their frames before.

My one star "Terrible" is exactly right for what happened next.

On the 20th the delivery company left the three very large boxes on my front porch, in full view of the road and passersby. The local police were passing and were thoughtful enough to put them behind our car, where they couldn't be seen.

I emailed Habitat on the 21st, pointing out that I regularly get missives from the police because there are lots of burglaries in our area, telling me not to make my home a target for burglars, and how to avoid this. Parcels on the porch all day don't help. I also told them that the local police had seen fit to move them.

I had requested a Saturday delivery, and the label on the box said Saturday, but it was delivered on a week day anyway. So I also asked Habitat what the point of asking was if they're just going to disregard my request.

A week later I'd still not had a reply to that email, so I forwarded it back to Habitat, said I'd not heard anything, and would they like to comment before I posted a review on their customer service.

I've not heard back. Will not be ordering anything from them online again. And given that I don't live near one of their shops, that effectively means I won't be buying from them again.
