Ordered item, paid, in stock, 2-7 days free delivery, no delivery, item no longer on website, status now dispatched. Many email enquiries later, now replies from customer service stopped. Requested refund, no reply, no refund. Now using legal means to get my money back through my credit card company. Would not recommend anyone uses this website. Website is good easy to buy but all style over substance. Wish I had seen the multitude of adverse reviews online before I tried to buy with Galaxy Stores.

I ordered 2 photo frames which arrived broken and obviously not fit for purpose. I contacted them immediately to request a refund and a week later and no response to emails and what a surprise they don't have a contact number!! I contacted them via their website which says you can expect a response in 24 hours, days later and still no response. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY POOR QUALITY PRODUCTS AND GO AWOL WHEN IT COMES TO A REFUND BUT TAKE YOUR MONEY IMMEDIATELY!

Ordered my item over a month ago, heard nothing for two weeks so emailed them, got a standard "we have received your email" reply. Shortly after I got a dispatch notification. Now another three weeks later there are no replies to emails and still no arrival. They boast about online chat help, it doesn't exist. They show testimonials of great service, I see no evidence to support them. DO NOT USE GALAXY STORES.

I ordered a BBQ for £103. It arrived very damaged. I returned it and they didn't give me a refund. I am going to have to start a claim through the court.

I ordered an item which said 2-5 days delivery. A month later I still haven't heard anything about the new estimated delivery and the only reply I ever got to my e-mails was a generic copy-paste identical email saying they will look into it. When I emailed asking for actual info instead of the generic reply I haven't heard back. A month and 6 emails later, I still haven't heard back from them. If they can't deliver as promptly as they claim they shouldn't be charging straight away. I now have no idea if I'll ever get my furniture (wroth £800).

DO NOT SHOP HERE! - I have never experienced such shocking service. I ordered an item of garden furniture after emailing to check they had it in stick. They took my money £1000 and then emailed to say they diod not have the item in stock after all. That was 8 weeks ago and they won't refund me. Having to take legal action...

I am surprised by the number of positive reviews on this site given other sites and our own experience. Ordered 1k of garden furniture in May and was told it was in stock with 2-3 weeks delivery. Communication, E Mail only, was great and staff helpful. Once we exceeded the delivery date and were 5 weeks on communication either ground to a halt or we had curt responses, only 1 staff member apologized for the continued delay. We were offered alternatives and even had a long E Mail about could a flatbed truck get down our road. All fob off tactics I now see as 7 weeks on my E Mails are blatantly being ignored despite the fact they hold 1k of my money. I have today contacted the supplier of the product directly who Galaxy orders with and then they deliver direct to the customer. They have advised that they have never even been given our order. We are now starting charge back proceedings as I doubt a quick voluntary refund will be given. The most appalling customer service ever experienced and nothing to show for it bar wasted time on E Mails and 1k off my credit card plus interest until my bank raised charge back and blocked any more interest on the cost. Please save your money and spend a bit more with a reliable business with a phone and ideally one you can visit in person. If you do get something from Galaxy then god help you if you have a problem with it.

Product was delivered and signed for despite me being at work that day! Emailed them to advise this and that I hadn't received the item. I was told they have delivered and won't provide replacement or refund. Emails I received were very rude! I am now out of Pocket £35 and they won't give manager name or complaint to get my money back. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY.

I bought an £85 chimenea advertised on Galaxy Stores website. After I paid I got an email to say they did not have it in stock (even though it said in stock on the Galaxy Stores website) and would I like to choose an alternative. I said no, I'd like a refund. I got another email straight back asking me if I was sure, and wouldn't I just like to look at their other stock as I would be unlikely to find the same item elsewhere (not true, have bought from another store very easily)? I still said no, that I wanted my money refunded ASAP and please would they let me know when that would be. Despite various emails after 5 days I heard nothing about my refund or when to expect it. This was in stark contrast to their immediate emails when trying to sell me an alternative product. In fact I only got a response when I wrote a negative review (and also emailed them to say I was doing do). I got two emails in return. The first was just one line that said 'see our terms and conditions'. No link or attachments to the T&Cs which I eventually hunted down on their website to discover they would be holding onto my money for 14 days before it was to be returned. The 14 days is not up yet so I will wait and see if they can fulfil this promise at least. The second email from their Customer Services team told me 'You need to get a life'. Galaxy Stores, there are many other things I would prefer to do than write reviews about your poor service but I do not need to 'get a life' what I need is for you to a) not advertise a product you don't have b) not take money for product you can't supply c) if you do a) and b), at least respond quickly and politely and let me know when the money you have taken from me under false pretences will be returned and d) not spend more time trying to get the reviews I have written removed and spend it actually providing a decent service!

I recently ordered a bed from this company, the money was taken out of my visa account straight away. I have not received the bed, I contacted them 3 times through the "contact us" on the website, no reply at all. I then directly emailed them and received 2 "we will get back to you within 24hrs emails" and nothing else. They do not have a contact number and the online web chat is a lie as it doesn't exist. I now have to wait a few more days before Visa will take up a dispute case. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Really would recommend not using Galaxy Stores. The service we received was awful. They have no telephone number. They only reply to emails if you are looking to buy the item. Once bought the customer service plummets. They lied to me about the item I bought - said it was flat packed and it was clearly not. They didn't deliver in the timeframe stipulated. In fact I don't know if they were going to send us our item at all if I hadn't chased them for it. The item looks cheap - I guess it wasn't all that expensive in the first place so I should have known. But overall I really do not rate Galaxy whatsoever.

After ordering and paying for a bed through Galaxy Stores, I received a dispatch notification a few days later... Great I thought, but sadly nothing arrived! I contacted their 'customer services' dept and was told that it was dispatched but they refused to give me a tracking number to chase it down with the courier company. Something didn't seem right so I called the courier company myself to be informed that they had received nothing from Galaxy stores. After confronting this company, I was told it hadn't in fact been dispatched and it would be done so that day... I proceeded to cancel my order due to the fact I had been lied to and the 1-2 days stated delivery was well past! The next weeks worth of emails went like this.... DAY 1- I want my order cancelled and an immediate refund please! We're dispatching the bed today I don't want the bed, I want it cancelled and my money back! DAY 2- We're dispatching the bed today I don't want the bed! I want it cancelled!! I'm sorry to hear that, we will sort this for you DAY 3- We would like to rectify this with a discount off your purchase. No thank you, I've already cancelled my order and I want a full refund! Sorry to hear this, I shall sort it for you. DAY 4- The bed is due for dispatch today. I don't want the bed today or any other day!!! It has been CANCELLED!!! I shall have to do further investigations and get back to you What further investigations!?! The bed has been dispatched *(calls courier company... They have still not received said bed) Once again, it is NOT with the courier company... I want the order cancelled and a full refund immediately!! DAY 5- Have you ordered a bed from elsewhere? I have made other arrangements and STILL haven't received a refund! I will get this sorted for you DAY 6- I have spoken to my colleague and we would like to offer you a £15 discount and a £10 voucher for any further purchases from Galaxy Stores! *Refrains from telling them where they could ram their vouchers* I have CANCELLED the order and I am still waiting for a full refund!! Anyway.... It continued until trading standards stepped in on my behalf. I did finally receive my refund, but I have never encountered a more unprofessional, time wasting and downright lying company!! Please, for your own sanity, STEER CLEAR!!!!

I purchased some Christmas lights from Galaxy Stores before Christmas 2013, they did not deliver them to me until January 2014! So I had no choice but to put them in my loft until the next Christmas. When I put them in the ground they intermittently didn’t work and were worse after rain, and where so flimsy they blew over in the slightest of winds. Completely not fit for purpose. I contacted Galaxy Stores immediately, and they said they would collect them…. Then after chasing this collection they said I would need to return them myself! I sent them back recorded delivery, paid £12.98 for the privilege. I originally paid via PayPal, and I am still waiting for a refund! :( Firstly they told me they hadn’t received them back from me, but when I give them the tracking number they suddenly found them… Then tell me I am being refunded… after chasing they say they need my bank/card details as they no longer have a PayPal account! I give them all this information… then after chasing them again! they tell me they’ve done a ‘manual’ refund via PayPal? So many emails have passed between us now, I’ve lost track…..all I get is “have you checked with PayPal?” “We’ve sorted this” “have you spoken to PayPal , you now need to deal with them” They haven't refunded my PAYPAL account whatsoever!, that I knew before I even contacted them...they have no clue what "sorted out" and "done a manual payment" means either... This has gone on too long now. Any competent company would have refunded me a month ago without this hassle. Extremely poor customer services, when they do not have a phone number you can ring, and they do not call me back on request either, but all they do is ignore my questions on email, like the important ones.....why have you taken my bank and credit card numbers? Can I have confirmation of the refund you claim to have done? I sent these lights back in good faith, and now the whole experience has become very stressful All I want is my refund of £50.00 ( plus return postage of £12.98!) DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM WHATSOEVER! Now in the hands of TRADING STANDARDS

A first time customer of Galaxy Stores, I ordered a Lloyd Loom armchair and cushion via their website as they had the most competitive price. I'm absolutely delighted with my purchases. Originally I ordered the armchair in grey but received contact from Galaxy Stores apologizing that it was in fact out of stock. I opted to change to a cream colour which was available and I'm so glad i did as I think it looks even better than the grey would have! Initially I was concerned by some of the feedback I had seen online regarding Galaxy Stores, but I'm pleased to say I had excellent service and communication via email from Galaxy Stores Customer Services. The products i ordered arrived in perfect condition and the delivery team Interlink text update me when to expect the delivery (even which hour to expect them). The only constructive feedback I would give is to ensure items on the website are actually in stock to avoid any potential disappointment of customers.

I ordered a table through Galexy Stores with the delivery being 3-5 working days, I emailed the company after the the table had not arrived. I had a response within 24hrs but became concerned as they said it had not even been dispatched yet. After a few more emails over the next few days I still could not get any answers to specific questions & so decided to look online at the companies reviews which left me even more concerned. I then decided look further into where the company and its employee who I was emailing were based, they were PO BOX addresses which meant there was no actual warehouse and the employee was based in America! It seems they are not UK based. I finally got an email to say it had been dispached & would be delivered in the next 2 days however I didn't get a tracking number & had never heard of the courier company so I was not very hopefull on the item arriving at all but to my surprise it was delivered by a lovely man. I have now unpacked, assembled and looking very smart. So after a lot of worrying it all turned out ok. I assume the company products are sourced & dispached within the UK but it's all done from America which is why deliveries are late with no specific details. I must also say that the employee always replyed to my emails quickly

Ordered a bed. Took my money, gave me the wrong delivery date. item was delivered in awful condition. once opened the bed had been smashed (all the framing inside the headboard was actually smashed apart, side boards were broken and fabric actually slashed!! who sends stuff out like that?! I could not believe it. Tried to contact Galaxy Stores - no "online chat" as they claim, it simply doesn't exist - no number to call which is just bad service- and responses to emails are unbelievable!!! they reply, days apart but don't get to the point, ignore everything you've emailed them, and use bad english grammar not to mention not actually sorting your problem out. I made it really simple - not happy with bed, here are the pictures as proof, please refund me and collect the bed. why are they still stalling?!?!

My initial impressions of Galaxy Stores was actually pretty good, I had ordered a TV unit for about £600, they took payment but then informed me they didn't actually have the item in stock, long story short I ordered in Oct and received the item in January, they even gave me a 30 quid discount when a rival store had the item cheaper during this time. The initial issue was that the TV unit had arrived damaged and I immediately sent Galaxy Stores an email and provided pictures, they offered a 100 quid discount but I decided I'd rather return the item for a refund, no problem they said and apparently arranged for a courier and provided documentation and pick up time, no one showed. Over the course of a large number of e-mails and awaiting for pick up, no one turned up, then Galaxy stores stopped answering my emails, the initial return was requested was 3 weeks ago. Having read some reviews on-line about similar issues regarding returns and refunds I offered them 1 more week to pick up the goods and offer a refund before I started to start to take this further i.e. contacting my bank and potential Trading Standards, this too had been ignored. I am still hoping they will respond, perhaps to this review and arrange pick up and offer me a full refund as is part of their 100% money back guarantee on their website. With no telephone number listed or recent contact via e-mail I am very concerned about my outstanding return and refund Update: Credit card firm have ruled in my favour and instigated a charge back based on the evidence, item has not been picked up even with 2 DX deliveries apparently scheduled and another(!) set up for Friday...............perhaps they will now magically appear now that i've been refunded? This has been a truly horrible experience but hopefully one with a happy ending, though I now don't know what to do with the damaged item if they don't pick it up? Update 2: many more mails and apparent DX deliveries booked that never turn up, Joshua and Phil are just giving their customers the run around, avoid dealing with at all costs

I'm totally impressed with the service I received from galaxystores! We went on the site to order a new desk and were firstly impressed with the wide range of desks and discounted prices! In the end we chose the Camden Double Pedestal Desk which seemed attractive and solid. We took delivery of the desk today and it is great! The delivery was simple too with a message to tell us when it would arrive, saving us hanging about the house all day. The desk has a great wooden top which is a nice finish and clean finish on the rest of the desk. We definitely got a bargain with the price we paid!
