PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY AT ALL

I ordered a bed and mattress on Monday 3rd Oct at a cost of £364.99 and asked for delivery on Sat 8th October didn't receive any conformation of delivery so rang them and spoke to someone who just said I quote " yea will be there Saturday " how did he know that when he never asked for any details e.g order number name address etc at the back of my head i just knew i wouldnt get the bed delivered and sure enough it didnt arrive after phone call and phone call with no answer and couldnt leave a voicemail as the voicemail box was full i have rung again this morning and have just met a brick wall the same guy i spoke to last week again said " yea will be delivered tomorrow " again asking no questions when i then asked for a refund he just said " yea ok will do that today " I dont hold much hope out at all at seeing my goods or my money again .. Rang again and spoke to someone else who was rude and put the phone down on me .. so no joy there I really can not afford to lose £364.99 and my daughter has no bed to sleep in now and i do not have the means to buy another so please please DO NOT deal with this company .. wish i had read the reviews before i ordered . Dont understand how they are still trading I am so upset and dont know where to go now ..

Hi, I'm sos orry this has happened to you, too, we've all suffered through this vile company. Ok, here's what you do, do to your bank and ask to be put through to the visa dispute department for a Chargeback--ALL banks do iy so don't take no for an answer. They will send you the form--its been over a month with Santander and they say they have sent me the form out twice now--beginning to lose patience with them, too. Save all correspondence you have had with furn247--you'll need to send this with the form back to the chargeback department. Good Luck. These roguetraders need to be stopped from trading, so call Manchester trading standards and tell them, speak with Mr Levvy.

Oh this is truly awful. I hope you get the forms quickly from your bank, tell them its urgent. What you could put on the forms for evidence, is your post on this site, mine and other's posts and responses; they don't normally take notice of sites like these, as they are just people's opinions and its a forum but if you haven't any correspondence from furn247, its all you can give them--at least they will get a strong flabvour of what this roguetrader company is like and how many people have been conned. Getting a chargeback is far better and quicker than going to court which can be a lengthy process, not to mention having to pay to actually take them to court even though the case would go in your favour. I hope you have called Trading Standards in Manchester, the more people who do this, the better, we MUST stop these rogue traders. I feel for you in your daughter's situation. Its shocking that people can treat others this way--I have tried everything to have them stopped but so far in vain -- I think I'll get in touch with my MP next. Good Luck, let me know what happens.. these people should be behind bars.

What you could do to, Stephen, is get your phone company to supply you with a record of when you called furn247, also, put on the form what was said when you called them. Oh and tell the bank that they will see what this company is like if they look on this site, that we are genuine people who have all been conned by furn247. I'm hopeful that you will get a chargeback from your bank--if there are any problems at all, get in touch with the Financial Ombudsman. I did because my insurers were a pain in the neck, so the FO knows all about furn247. Hope this helps you further.

Surely 247 must have sent you a receipt via email atleast? Even if they didn't, the debit should show up on your statement as \"E-commerce\". Like Heatherjune, we have all been stung by this awful company, but there can be light at the end of the tunnel if you use the chargeback scheme. You don't need your bank to send you a form, all you need to do is send a detailed letter to the disputes department of your bank, saying exactly what has happened and that they failed to honour their delivery time, and failed to honour the refund they promised. Send copies of any receipts/email correspondance you have from 247. Your bank will investigate and refund you. It may mean your daughter has to sleep on the sofa temporarily (or you will while she has your bed or whatever), terribly inconvenient, but you should get your money back eventually, and then you can use it to buy her a bed from a reputable company. Good luck.

Hi to everyone that offered advice so kind of you all to take the time to write .. well the good news is that i have had my refund from 247 today 21.10.11 I emailed them everday, sent recorderd delivery letters asking for my money back and spoke to my solicitor ( who gave 1/2 hour free advice ) I advised 247 that i wouldnt give up and go away until i had my refund .. and i wouldnt have given up So my advice is DON'T let them get away with stealing your money and dont give up chaseing for it I have logged it with Trading Standards so will see if anything comes of it the more people that do the more likely they will cease to trade (we all hope) Good luck Thanks again for all advice
