“Misrepresentation, shoddy quality and poor service”

I bought the Portofino gloss sideboard. I look at every picture imaginable (including Googling it) and on different laptops (in case the colour changed) to ensure it was in the ballpark of the colour I was looking for. Instead, it was far darker and far more 'brownish' than in any picture. As a result, I have something which doesn't look right in the room for which it was intended. “Online stock availability”

When you order a item from dwell online you assume that the stock availability would be correct as shown on item page .Do Not assume this!!!!!! It's only when you have placed a order & paid your money to dwell, that you truly find out that there is no current stock available for immediate delivery, & your given a estimated delivery date. I love the Dwell design - innovative and affordable, without the hype of most of the contemporary furniture shops - hype which is just about overpricing, not going above or beyond quality or style. “White Drop Leaf Dining Table -damaged when packed”

Ordered table in December 13 but good product not delivered until July 14. We believe the delivered item had been packed damaged and assume we may have been sent store demonstration model as no others in the country. Packaging did not appear to be damaged. I placed my order after 'chatting' online and was given a new customer discount. The on-line 'chat' lady phoned me to make sure the order was processed so that the discount would register properly, and she even arranged next day delivery as I'd said I would be at home the following day. We are pleased to hear that you like the TV unit and with regards to the delivery cost we have kept this at £39 for the London area and haven't increased this like we have been forced to do so in other areas, due to the continued increase in fuel, insurance etc to run our fleet. We do however, offer a free store collection service, so perhaps this could be beneficial to you in the future.

“Don't Order Unless You Like Waiting for Delivery”

Bought a couch, only to find out that it was out of stock once I paid. It was taking them 4 weeks to get it in stock and I chose to wait. The day comes and goes with no delivery date scheduled. After numerous calls and unwillingness to offer any concessions due to the inconvenience, I finally got my couch. Mind you, I had to be at home from 7am to 6pm when their delivery "window" is. “Front end sales good but delivery terrible”

Goods not delivered on expected date. Disputes behind the scene between Dwell and its distributor DSV. Revised delivery date set but cancelled by DSV on the morning of expected delivery. I personally contacted DSV and set a third agreed revised delivery date - DSV tried to deliver on a completely different day and not surprisingly I was not there. Spoken to DSV again and they have no idea why they tried to make the delivery on the wrong day. What a shambles. First and last time I will use Dwell… Read Full Review
