My pensioner parents have had an expensive and highly stressful experience whereby the purchased an ex display bed, which delivery drivers claimed would not fit into a particular room in their bungalow. The bed was taken back to store by the drivers despite my parents suggesting they put it into another bedroom, and the store have then refused to refund the bed price of £2000 to my parents, referring to terms and conditions that were not made clear to my elderly parents in store! The store have suggested my parents choose something else from the store but there is nothing else they would like to buy!! They have since purchased a bed from a competitor high street store who offered a much better service and were much more transparent about their company's policies and terms and conditions and didn't exploit an elderly couple in order to boost store income. Well done to Furniture Village but to all potential customers, please be very careful about shopping in Dreams. I am pursuing matters to seek to recover my parents' money. They have no bed from the company however Dreams have held on to £2000 of their money. Shameful, unfair and barely legal I would suggest!
