“Failing to refund on unavailibilty of product”

I ordered a chiminea cover for £25 which was charged immediately. It didn't arrive. On contacting them I was told they no longer supply this item. Why it was advertised is anyone's guess. They apologised for not contacting and said my money would be returned within 3 days. I contacted again and told it would be passed to the accounts department. Extremely bad service. Have chased them every day once the delivery date has passed and every time I got the same response: 'I can't tell you when you are going to receive it, we will let you know' and they NEVER EVER got back to yme. They wouldnt let me have their courier contacts so I could not check the delivery status with the courier directly. Worst customer service ever!!!!! Payed for product advertised as next day delivery. 8 days later still haven't received product. With no explanations or apologies from company. This company have no concern for customers, they take your money and have no intention of fulfilling the order. Never have I experienced such bad customer service. After ordering a bench from Corban direct at the end of June the money was swiftly taken from my account. I received an email days later saying the order had been 'delayed' and they would refund my money within 3-5 days. After emailing them to find out what had happened I had to get them to confirm that the order had in fact been cancelled and not delayed. Ordered an item of furniture and straight away got offered 10% discount which was lovely. Parcel arrived on time, but unfortunately, one piece was damaged. I phoned and was told to email pictures of the damaged piece so it could be replaced by next day delivery. (If sorted before 12.) Never have I had to deal with such an incompetent company. We have been waiting for over a month now for a delivery that was guaranteed within 2-3 days. “Still chasing my refund 4 months later”

Ordered a bed from this company with next day delivery in February 2014. They messed up the delivery twice so was offered a 20% refund for my troubles that would be in my bank within 3-5 days. So far so good. Item finally arrived but 4 months later and over 10 phone calls I still have not received the refund promised to me. Update - After 4 months of phone calls I have finally received the refund today. I spoke to a lovely lady on the phone last week who emailed me to let me know what was happening and then she rang me and left a answer message today to say that the refund had gone in my account. I have just checked and it has. I rang her back to thank her for being the only person to follow up on my problem and actually resolve it without any hassle. Again thank you, you are a star and should be commended for your efficient customer service

When I contacted them 0903 Monday morning I was told after a long wait while some guy chased my order that it was not down for delivery on Monday and it could be Tuesday or even Wednesday. Ordered 2 chairs next day delivery. They did not arrive and after 2 phone calls and being told they will be with you, still not here. the 'choose your delivery date' option did not happen, I was told on my chosen date that my item was not in stock so I cancelled the purchase as I could not afford to take another day offf work.
