So where to start? I purchased a Serene Armstrong bed on a Friday and was expected for it to come before 9am the following Monday as they advertise NEXT DAY DELIVERY. The bed failed to come and they also failed to update me of this. I had to constantly call customer service to ask what was going on. Upon this they agreed that as it was their fault that they would deliver it on Saturday (which is an upgrade service). Needless to say, that Saturday it did not come. I have ordered a bed on Sunday 14th Sep and selected next day delivery... but since I had ordered after 12pm it says that the next day delivery would be on Tuesday 17th Sep. I took a day off work waited the whole day for this bed!! I would like to cancel my order with you due to me waiting a whole week for my delivery?!!!! I am having the same nightmare!!! I have ordered a bed on Sunday 14th Sep and selected next day delivery... but since I had ordered after 12pm it says that the next day delivery would be on Tuesday 17th Sep. I took a day off work waited the whole day for this bed!! At 4pm I decided to call them... the lady apologised and said someone should have told you... there has been some delays it will now be delivered tomorrow on Wed 17th Sep. This morning the 17th September I called them again asking for the position of the delivery... and the lady says that I will not get the bed anytime this week but next week as there is a delivery time of 5 to 7 days!!!! But they cannot tell me in advance when the delivery will be.... So basically I need to take a whole week of work and wait at home just for a bed delivery!! And I should not complain because the delivery is FREE of charge!! I don't care about a free delivery I want a reliable delivery even if that means paying for it!!! Absolutely shocking!!!!! I ordered a bed on a specific date when I was going to move into my new flat. My order was for a future date in a week and a half. The confirmation email came without a specific date but the next day delivery, which surprised me. A tenant who was living then at my future address certainly didn't need my bed. Then came an email saying to call them to verify some details. This company trades under various names, a common tactic when they provide service as poor as this lot. I purchased under the directbedroom.co.uk brand. I ordered a lovely bed and mattress for a fantastic price, Direct Bedroom also offered free next day delivery which was fantastic for us as we have just moved into a new house and needed a bed for my son. As a regular online shopper, i would like to say that Corban Direct is the worse company I have ever dealt with! They are merely a middle man who do not stock any items. You order from them, then they order from elsewhere, thus making "guaranteed delivery" impossible. I ordered a bed described a fast next day delivery. I ordered the bed on a Saturday, assumed it would be processed by Monday and delivered by Tuesday. Nope. Can't get it out to me today apparently. This is a bed frame I ordered. I will now be sleeping on my mattress on the floor until X amount of time when they get it together. You can buy bed frames from Amazon that promise next day delivery and then deliver THE NEXT DAY. I ordered 2 single beds to be delivered to my mother-in-law in York and was promised a delivery date as it needed a two man delivery. Dates were agreed and all seemed well - even promised bed linen as "compensation". even an e-mail to the chairman no help. Despite two emails and two telephone calls, I have still not received a bed ordered for a Saturday delivery or had a confirmed delivery date despite asking. They promised one date, then when I rang again, said another. They don't even remember what they said. I paid an extra £20 for a Saturday delivery. They keep changing the delivery date and say they will refund the £20 but they haven't yet. I ask for an email to confirm this and nothing from them. My experience is similar to reviews already displayed here. Ordered a guest bed on their Direct Bedroom web site. Selected a delivery date. The day came without any confirmation of delivery. I rang them up, but they said they could not contact supplier. After several phone calls and not getting any confirmation of delivery I cancelled the order. Same experience as countless others. False claims on the website, appalling customer service, three failed deliveries where it just didnt turn up. No customer communications and rude staff that don't offer help. Go with a reputable company - it's not worth the hassle.
