Phantom deliveries, no promised call-backs, terrible.

I ordered a computer desk and specified a delivery date. They say they will be in touch by SMS or email about the courier co. Neither. I called on due date, they said the records indicated that there was a failed delivery almost a week before, and a new date had been set. I had had no notification of either intended delivery time or 'where are you?' call or 'we missed you' note from the phantom deliverers. I was promised a call-back on that first day. None. I sat at home on the second due-date. Called them at 9am. 'Supplier not answering (again), I'll call them at 10 and call you back'. So. 12.30 I called again, and was told that it won't be delivered today for sure. I asked to speak to a manager, and that I would wait on hold until he was free from his phone call. Alas, apparently that would be lasting all afternoon! But he would 'give me a call' between 4 and 5pm. I didn't believe it at the time, but waited..and..no call. Result - this review. I have never been so let down by a company. I think they may have taken the order without seeing if the supplier actually had any units first - don't believe that 'in stock' note by the product.
