I place an order with Bedworld for a bed frame on a Saturday and chose the following Tuesday for delivery because I knew I could be at home all day, as deliveries are not timed. On the Monday I received a call from Bedworld advising me that due to a stock take on Tuesday my bed would be delivered on Wednesday. I explained that I had a doctors appointment at 12.15 and asked that in view of the change to delivery date not being my fault, that the bed would be delivered either morning or afternoon but not between 12.15 and 1.30pm. The advisor I spoke to said she would see what she could do and let me know. I never received a call back. I rang on the Wednesday morning to again explain that I had a doctors appointment, but the best I was offered was that the bed could either be left outside! or delivered another day. The advisor did say though that she would let the delivery company know that I wouldn't be at home between 12.15 and 1.30. As a precaution I asked a neighbour across the road to have my keys. My bed turned up at 12.25pm, exactly when I had said I would be out, despite the fact that the delivery times span 13 hours and yet they could avoid the 75 minutes that I was out. I do know the transport side is a seperate company but the customer service is non existent. I certainly wouldn't use this company again or recommend them. I do normally check reviews however on this occasion I was so pleased to find the bedframe that I was looking for in stock that I took a chance.
