We have recently booked to go to Bangkok with British Aiirways (lovely, simple booking experience) prior to making BA booking we tried to book with Holiday Genie (HG). The payment was unsuccessful twice on their site, I gave up and moved on. 5 days later I received an email from HG with my ticket reference. I immediately emailed them to say that the booking had not processed and could they please credit my card. 9 days later and still no response, I gave them a call and I have been told that as I didn't cancel soon enough there is nothing they can do! I cancelled the same day that I found out there was a booking. How can one cancel a booking they don't know existed. The situation now is that I have to wait on them making a decision. Lets hope it's an honourable one.
