Delicious cake and arrived on time , was worried as it came through post but it arrive in perfect condition and tasted delicious will order again

Ordered a gluten free cake (because he has a condition) for my sons birthday a month and a half in advance. His birthday is on Christmas day, paid extra for special delivery just before. Cake did not arrive, no coms from company, no one available to answer emails, nothing. Ruined what we had planned for his Christmas day birthday, had to make do with a caterpillar cake from Morrisons. Will be seeking a full refund and will be leaving negative feed back wherever I possibly can. Will never be trusting this company again.

I have ordered baker days cakes before for family and friends,which they loved.I sent 2cakes to my Son's for Father's Day and again were delighted with them.On one of them I uploaded a photo of my Son and his Son.They cut it in half and really enjoyed eating it.I have never tasted any of the cakes,so maybe I will order one for my upcoming 70th Birthday.

***AVOID AT ALL COSTS*** Having ordered from Bakerdays on 15/03/23 I had several issues with my order, not least that they failed to deliver by the promised date (17/03/23) or even the date they amended to (18/03/23), absolutely shocking customer service means the issues still haven't been rectified despite several calls, emails and messages on Facebook (they have now blocked me) and we still do not have what we paid for! Please read the reviews before ordering from this company as I didn't and now regret it wholeheartedly. Will be issuing a claim in the small claims court if I don't get this sorted this week. Completely ruined our mother's day surprise for our elderly mum. They even had the cheek to apologise for the way i felt, not for MAKING me feel that way! Rude ignorant and downright shouldn't be allowed to trade.

Dissapointment. I have called on friday and I was assured that my cake will be delivered on Saturday the next day. Saturday at the time of delivery I got message that the courier was busy and my delivery was postponed on Monday! I also paid extra for delivery on Saturday. The birthday was ruined thanks to Bakerdays. They even didnt respond to my emails. not a single apology, not a single regret. Also it was described a cake of 10-12 pieces, the caked arrived of a size of a palm! 

I was very impressed with a birthday cake ordered for next day delivery. The cake and icing were very well presented, freshly made and delicious. The photograph used to personalise the cake was very well reproduced. The cake came on a substantial drum board and beautifully packed. I really wasn't sure how things would turn out when I ordered the cake but it was much better than most supermarket cakes and, however naff, gave great pleasure to the recipient. The whole process went smoothly and communication was excellent. (The exception was attaching a photograph to the order. This was ridiculously tricky and I eventually achieved it by editing and saving a photo to my Android phone.)

I bought an any age diamond cake the pictures on the website looked fantastic sparkling diamonds nicely coloured writing. The one I received was nothing like. The diamonds looked more like lead faded writing nothing like the picture advertised. I bought the cake for a birthday celebration but I would not embarrass myself by giving it to the person it was intended for. REALLY DISAPPOINTED is an under statement. No value for money whatsoever a supermarket cake would have been better. One plus it arrived on time.

At the last minute (2 days before) I decided I wanted to send a cake to my son who is teaching in Croydon UK - I am in Canada and was curious to find a bakery that would deliver to his school and surprise him. I searched online and found “Bakerdays” I ordered the cake and it was delivered just as they promised - He was so surprised and I was so happy it worked out as I had hoped - love this service

I am a third time returning customer and have to say the cakes From Baker Days are superb. The only grievance I had and it is a very small one, is that on this occasion no tracking info was made available to me of which was very inconvienent when trying to organise school runs.

Ordered a letterbox cake And description very misleading. I expected it to come the size of the cardboard box... It arrived in a small tin, Inside the cardboard box. Which it looks so tiny it looks lost inside the box. Icing on top had started to sink and colours run. I paid £14.99 for the cake.. & £5.99 for delivery.(tbf the delivery I could not fault)

I ordered a gluten free cake for my mum's 80th birthday and I have to admit I was a bit worried but I can honestly say, WOW!!!! The cake arrived on the day specified and in perfect condition. It was beautifully decorated and complete with cake slice and tin. What a fantastic service. As for taste, it was moist, not too heavily iced and the sponge just melted in the mouth - perfect. My mum was over the moon with it and that meant the rest of us were too. Thank you so much and an extra thanks for noticing that I'd made an error in the message I wanted on the cake and for phoning me first to check what I actually wanted. First class baking and service, I would recommend to anyone***

Ordered this champagne celebration cake for my two sons who have special birthdays. It has just arrived on time and absolutely delighted with it. Looks exactly as in the picture and a lovely engraved cake slice was included.What a nice touch! Judging by other reviews this is going to be just as delicious as it looks! Well done Baker Days.Nice to know such quality and service still excist!

Ordered a birthday cake to be delivered to my mother in law on her birthday this year which happens to fall on a Sunday. Paid 15 pounds extra for the special Sunday delivery. We live abroad so this was important. Told rest of family to stay home to wait for the cake. Cake was not delivered. Emailed company at 4pm U.K. time, called, no response. Cake was delivered one day late. Received an email from the company saying delay was caused by delivery company to which I responded with 'management of your vendor should not be your customers' problems. This is a birthday cake for grandma. Should not have arrived one day after her birthday. '. I asked for a refund. None was given. Told them I do not currently live in the U.K. They asked me to call them if I want to discuss? Was offered a free cake within next 12 months. Would you trust them to deliver another birthday cake on time ? I think not. While it is a nice gesture, it doesn't help. It would have been a more sincere gesture if they were to atleast refund the 15 pounds delivery charge. Avoid this company.

I have used a few other online cake companies and my strong recommendation is 'DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY'. I ordered a birthday cake to be delivered (ordered in advance of 5days) yet no cake arrived on the requested date and fictitious phone message from a delivery company stating I was not home. Absolute lie I was home all day and there is 24 hour Conceierge to the building so they made no attempt to deliver and claimed I was not home. Wish I had spent my money on a reliable company and not disappoint my son

I ordered a plain photo cake, a simple cake with no writing on, just a photo on top. When the cake came, it was completely white! There was nothing on it, just a plain white cake as they didn't print the photo on (even though the preview looked fine!) I am not paying £29 for a plain white cake that you can get at the supermarket for £5. So I e-mailed the customer services and they said they would give me a free cake of my choice. However, this did not go to plan. The idiots told me to call in to order the cake, and when I called to order they said they would call me back 'in a few minutes'. So, I gave them my number. No one called back after A WEEK. There was lots of e-mailing back and forth (about 2-3 weeks worth to order the damn thing) and then finally I got it ordered and asked for it to be delivered on the 30th of December. On the 2nd of Jan, when the cake still hadn't arrived (which I wasn't surprised about since everything else they did was sloppy and unorganised) I contacted bakerdays to ask where my cake was. They claimed that they sent the cake to my address but it was turned away because the person they spoke to said they didn't order a cake, which I find bizarre since the only address I provided them with was my home address and I had been at home all day and no one came! Finally the cake arrived on the 6th of Jan, which was past the date that I needed it for my friend's birthday, so it was useless anyway. Thanks for the hassle, bakerdays. I am never ordering off this website again and I would strongly recommend that no one else did either.

Bought a teddy cake for my mums birthday, it arrived on time, delivery was as expected, box in tact, lots of padding and packaging incase of any damage (which there was not) opened box to find the delicious smell just hit me along with a lovely sight! looked just as I ordered it, tasted delicious, so moist, unfortunately it's now all gone (if only I'd of got a bigger size) now eagerly awaiting a next occasion so I have an excuse to purchase another!! overal delighted with both service and delivery, cake was spot on would 100% recommend
