My first order from the Asian Cookshop arrived well packaged but with two badly dented cans.
Clearly they had been packed in this condition - there was no way it could have occured in transit.
I emailed & they replied saying that according to their Terms & conditions I had to accept this & they would do nothing to rectify the situation.
I read the terms & conditions which are absurd & have been concocted in order to try & convince customers that they have agreed to forego their consumer rights in the event of any problems. It is a bad sign that this company has gone to trouble to do this,rather than simply to behave decently & give good service. It speaks volumes about how they feel about customers. They want your money, but will send you dented cans & tell you that it is tough luck.
I know better & will be sorting this out - but it should not be this way.
Asian cookshop do not deserve to be in business with this attitude.
They have lost a good customer - I will be shopping elsewhere & suggest you do the same.
There are plenty of good alternatives. Life is too short to have anything to do with dodgy or unpleasant people.
