One star is being too generous!

I saw a fabulous deal on a bottle of Cristal champagne that seemed too good to be true. As a first time customer I found the ordering system easy and was even more pleased to find a voucher code for more money off! My order was accepted and processed and I received an email confirming my delivery slot. I was very surprised to receive another email an hour later cancelling my order with a flimsy reason about verification of my payment.
When I called customer services to ask about the cancellation I was told they would need a copy of my coucil tax bill in order to deliver my item. I do not understand why they need this? The payment was accepted by my bank,the card is registered to the same address as the delivery and I've lived at my address for more than 17 years!!!
Do Ocado discriminate against certain postcodes? Do I not live in a desirable area?
I asked to speak with their finance department but was told they are not customer facing! It was suggested that they could pass on my comments, however as I saw from other shoppers in the same position, it would not do any good as their processes will not be changed anytime soon.
I was disgusted that they wanted this unecessary information and did not comply with their request. Needless to say, I will not be using Ocado again in the future and will not be recommending to friends either.
