I ordered £300 worth of Christmas goods… I ordered £300 worth of Christmas goods including Turkey. Their date for delivery did not come out as I had put in so I sent an email just after purchase with correct delivery date of the 19th of December. I received an email to say they had received the delivery date, however they sent the food anyway. I called to say I could not take food now because no where to store it and that I would have called earlier had they not sent an email to say delivery date was received. This food has just all arrived at my house and they basically said tough we were too busy to read your email! I will never use them again terrible customer service.

If you want meat that doesn’t arrive in time for your event and customer service people that don’t care, these are your guys! Don’t do it

What a POOR experience I was given a delivery date so I waited in all day, just before 6 pm I gave them a ring to ask where my delivery was they stated they had checked the tracking and it was just around the corner from my house nothing arrived. The next day I gave them another ring they then told me the driver could not find my address but would try again today I waited in again at 3pm it finally arrived the driver apologised for his lateness telling me that the van broke down yesterday and the food was ruined and showing +14 degrees got in touch with them again they blamed the courier for the food being warm and gone off stating that packaging should keep it fresh for 72 hrs what a joke they also stated fresh food was okay up to + 8 degrees again what a joke, gov.com state + 0to +5 maximum. They then sent me a fresh delivery which meant waiting in again for a 3rd day arrived late afternoon food was at + 12 degrees put it in the bin for a second time what a waste of £70.00 plus 3 days AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE this company is going to make someone very ill and the stories they tell you are just unbelievable.

I placed an order for delivery on 23rd December approximately 1 month prior to this date. I received an email on the evening of 22nd December stating that the delivery would not be made until 24th December due to an item not being in stock. Why not send the rest of the order on the correct day? Stated that delivery could be at any time that day as this is parcel force policy. This is a clear lie from this company as couriers will guarantee delivery before 1pm for a supplement. Obviously the company is more concerned about profits rather than customer care. Customer service absolutely useless. No offer to refund delivery charges.

I just wanted to say how impressed i was with both the quality of the meat and the efficient delivery. I will definitely be ordering again and would not hesitate to recommend to a friend.

I worked for a noted food supplier for four years and the order I have just recived is better in everyway both in quality and care taken in packaging. This beats the formular One of farming at a fraction of tghe price

Thought I would give them a try with introductory meat box offer, claimed they had delivered and left in my garden which was a joke, manager clearly wasnt interested and its taken a threat of going to trading standards to get a refund, never again, worst obkine expwrience ever.

My family and I have been Farmison customers since the New Year, and I'm a little surprised by some of the feedback here in light of our outstanding experience. It seems people are only content to review a company if they have a gripe. The meat is outstanding, so much so that I now have a weekly order, with the Galloway beef being my favourite. The sausages too are worth a mention as being of proper texture, and the bacon has real flavour, not like the watery rubbish you buy in the supermarket. We did have one issue with their courier once, but the person I dealt with at Farmison arranged for delivery to come the next day instead, and the meat was fine. This Autumn we're going on holiday to the Dales, so I'm looking forward to seeing some of the areas our food comes from. Would certainly recommend.

Thought we had got a bargain using Itison voucher but were very disappointed. All the steaks were terrible burgers lacked taste and sausages disappointing. Will definitely not use again

I bought for a month quite a few different cuts of beef and lamb as well some sausages made from lamb mince. The price doesnt reflect the quality of their produce abs sadly to say, I could had buy from a local butcher the same quality for half the price. You would expect for their internet prices to reflect into some really tasty meat. The lamb chops were taken from a large lamb or sheep who knows, the beef needed hours of cooking in order to come into some tenderness when chewing,only the ground beef was quite good but baring the hefty price,I could be as good and happy with Sainsbury's.Over all I would never order again from the internet food ,especially meat.

Dont know where negative reviews have come from. Second order and i will certainly use this company again. Great quality and value for money if you are looking for finer foods than that of local supermarket. Very ethical Which i don't mind paying extra for.

Just had some of Farmison's steaks at a horse trials near Lincoln and they were amazing, very tender and full of flavour. Also sampled some venison sausages which I will definitely be ordering from their site. Excellent produce.

Writing this review, because I came to Farmison through Amazon, had recommended to a friend, but they had found negative reviews of the company on this site, which I found misrepresented my experience. To the reviewer who says there's nothing about subscribing in the small print, it's in the title "Monthly Meat Box" and all over the small print. When I purchased it I was left in no doubt I was having a regular box. Have been completely thrilled with all the produce, but would recommend freezing the chicken if you're not going to use it immediately. Really like the way the farms are printed on the labels. My Dads from Cumbrian farming stock and when I cook for him he's always pleased to know he's getting proper Cumbrian fare. In a time when supermarkets are squeezing farmers like never before, it's nice to know that companies like this are using an innovative approaches to set up new food supply lines. The difference in taste is staggering as well. I recommend the sausages in particular to demonstrate the difference. Only wish them the best success in the future. My friend who I referred to Farmison has been just as pleased, and been delighted with the service. Everyone I've spoken to is really enthusiastic about the business and the rare breeds and really knows their stuff. I'm full of gratitude to the lady who sorted out Parcel Force not finding my house, getting them to go back and deliver.

Farmison will never let you know on the website or even in the email (apart from in small print) that you are signed in to a subscription (at no point does that word even occur in the email I got). I thought I was getting a one off deal from amazon but apparently not. There was nothing on my account page to say I had a subscription and I received no emails warning me of another impending order. just 50 less in my bank account that I wasn't aware of and a text message telling me about 20 minutes before that I'd gotten another order. and customer service? they said it was my fault, repeatedly talked down to me and didn't even offer to cancel my subscription for me. there is nowhere to unsubscribe on their website (what a lucky design fault for them) disgusted by their service and their poor attention to customer needs.

All Farmison meat is delivered fresh; packed in ice and top quality meat at that. It distresses me to hear about the moaning Minnie's on this site whom would be unhappy about absolutely anything. If you really don't like Farmison then go buy from somewhere else.

I usually purchase a months worth of bacon and sausages from them to freeze and have generally been very happy, although I wasn't very pleased about the Parcelforce delivery guy kicking my front door because he couldn't be bothered putting the boxes down and ringing the bell. The only problem I have is that if you leave a not too good review on their website about one of their products, ie. I found one type of their bacon a bit salty, and they do not like your review they will remove it from their website. This therefore puts all the other reviews into question and to be honest I will no longer trust them. Overall, a very good supplier of grass fed meats though quite expensive (eight slices of bacon £5.50 and six sausages £6.00) and it doesn't actually say that the pigs are grass fed, just organic (which could mean anything). Delivery generally good, Saturday at no extra charge, just questionable reviews. I'm going to have a go at Musclefoods, they are getting good reviews and supply grass fed irish beef.

I have been ignored despite direct contact with an owner and several submissions to their online feedback form and twitter. My garlic arrived mouldy. The mean was aswful despite being cooked properly to a tried and tested recipe. The mushrooms were going off and one of the partridges was very bloody. I don't mind paying extra for quality but you don't get quality with this company. Why they insist on ignoring me I do not know
