What's the Point?

I don't often use online ordering and delivery for shopping, not impressed by any of it, but being disabled I sometimes need to rely on it when less ambulant than usual.
When I do, I usually use Sainsbury's, which is generally just about OK, but as my local branch is smaller than most it has a VERY restricted range, so this time needing certain things, I thought I would try ASDA, because I know the branch has a far better range especially of certain foods- or at least it USED to have a far better range, now it seems more like a 1970s Soviet supermarket, and has shortages of all sorts of things!

45 items ordered, TEN failed to arrive.
Interestingly, almost all of the stuff not delivered were the items on various "offers." It is only those items that makes the place affordable, "full" prices are just as dear as any supermarket chain, and makes ASDA just as expensive as any, so I might as well have went to Ocado!

I paid the extra 40p for bags, I don't usually, but, as I am currently much less well than my usual already poor condition, I just wasn't up to swapping a lot of shopping at the doorstep - but, guess what: much of it came unbagged and loose in the plastic boxes anyway! I had to just dump it all on the sofa to sort out later, I hadn't bothered to put bags handy as I expected it to be already bagged.

Complete waste of time - I will now still need to go shopping, even though I am really not up to it, but I don't have enough of the right food to get me over the weekend, and it will have to be tonight as that's the only time I will be able to get assistance - I could have well done without that, as I am not really up to it, and to add insult to injury, I have already paid for the privilege of a delivery!
