I ordered a 3 seat Haversham swing on 25/6/12 with a delivery date of 5-6 days. This item was a gift to my wife as an anniversay present. I waited until the 6/7/12 and rang their Customer Service Team. I was informed that the item would be delivered the next day (7/7/12). Also I requested to speak to the Manager. I was told he was on the other line and would get in touch with later. Nobody called.
I waited until 5:00pm on 7/7/12. Nothing had arrived and nobody had called. I rang Customer Service again to find what had happen to my order. I was told it was cancelled. I enquired as to who had canceled it, to which they had no answer. I enquired that track-it online was showing as "The parcel has been loaded onto the drivers van". Again they were not able to answer. The person said the delivery team are closed and will chase it up on Monday (9/7/12) and get back to me as a matter of urgency.
Again I waited until 7:00pm and called the Customer Service. Again I was told it was cancelled but was not given an answer as to the reason. Also I had enquired why the Manager had not returned my call. I said if it was cancelled would it not be courteous to inform the customer rather then him having to guess to the status of the order. I have ordered things online from other Superstores and they have been brilliant. "Asda" get your act sorted as it stinks.It seems that your left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Avoid using Asda online. If something goes wrong its a headache.
