I placed an order with Bouf in January. The item was advertised as being £332 reduced from £350 with a delivery time of 4-6 weeks. Immediately after placing the order the price changed to £350 reduced from £400. Obviously, the item had never been priced at £400 so my first complaint is that I find their pricing policy to be dishonest. 6 Weeks went by and I hadn't received my order so I contacted Bouf for an update. Basically I was told it would be with me soon and over the following months I periodically contacted Bouf for updates which, whilst friendly, were vauge at best. Eventually I set a deadline of Fri 18th May (5 months after ordering at this point! )and insisted to Bouf that if I hadn't taken delivery by then that I would expect a full refund. On the evening Thursday the 17th I received a text from the courier asking when I could take delivery. I replied Fri 18th and got a text back saying that wouldn't be possible. At around 6pm on Friday, after my deadline, the courier called to arrange delivery. I explained the situation and told them I was no longer interested. I had to contact Bouf myself to chase up the refund which, at the time of writing (1st June) two weeks after my deadline for delivery, they still haven't processed. A quick check of my inbox shows 20 emails from Bouf during this period, I never received my order and I am having to actively chase up my refund. I honestly believe that, if it was not for me putting the time in to get my money back, that Bouf would just keep it. The customer service team are friendly, the concept and execution of the site is great - as is the selection of products. But, bare in mind my experience detailed above and that I have no chest of drawers, no refund and that it is almost SIX MONTHS since placing my order. With that in mind, would you honestly even consider using this site? I know I won't be going back.
