Hi,

I am sorry you are unhappy with your DNA results and I will do all I can to help.

Because the percentages of DNA a person receives from his ancestors at the level of second generation (grandparents) and further back are not necessarily divided evenly in each generation, it is possible that one great-grandparent may have passed on a percentage of his/her DNA to his great-grandchild, while another great-grandparent may have passed on another percentage.

This might explain some surprising results in your MyHeritage Ethnicity Estimate, However, the probability of a person having only one pure ethnicity is very unlikely.

We are still receiving and analyzing DNA samples for the MyHeritage Founder Population project which has been a very important study that helps us research more origins of all the specific DNA strands that is found throughout the world. This will ultimately help us give more accurate estimates in the future.

First notice of unauthorized taking of money from my bank account was MY NEXT BANK STATEMENT. Never an email, phone call asking IF I wanted to renew. I called to get a refund and was told I was bound by the original "agreement" !Your automatic swipe of my money based on some unilateral declaration is offensive.I paid one year,appreciated what info I did get, but I had limited purposes,had no further wish for any additional info. MyHeritage has been very helpful with my effort to expand my family tree and discover new branches of my family etc. On-line research is so much more convenient than my genealogy research in libraries back in the '70's. The one thing though that I would like to see improved is the "lock-out" I experience with "Instant Discoveries". Na een naar het lijkt totale crash van ruim 8000 personen op zowel de site als op de eigen pc is dit door My Heritage op een goede en voor lopige juiste wijze opgelost. Het probleem blijkt helaas maar enkele keren voor te komen en aan een definitieve oplossing wordt gewerkt. What a great website, so easy to find information from, as in dates and register reference numbers. Unfortunately after the free trial for only one day I realised that as a aged pensioner I could not afford the subscription. One must have much patience to wait for a person to answer the phone. I waited an hour. It is helpful to be told, though, where you stand in line.
