***BEWARE - READ TERMS & CONDITIONS BEFORE PURCHASE***

My husband ordered a bouquet for me on 1st January to arrive on our anniversary the 4th January. We waited in but no flowers arrived. I called customer services on the 6th January to be told they were being delivered that day. Apparently if you say you would like free delivery you are agreeing to the companies terms and conditions that specify free delivery can take up to 48hrs, and only if you pay £1.90 delivery fee will the flowers will be delivered the day required. My husband also received an email on 5th January to say that the flowers would be delivered the 4th January.

I today again rang customer services and spoke to a customer service operator who again advised only when £1.90 is paid are your flowers delivered on the day required and free delivery of flowers means that delivery can take up to 48hrs. I advised The CSO that if it were made clear my husband would definitely had paid the £1.90 for delivery and had the bouquet delivered on the day required. It was my anniversary on Saturday and not Monday when the flowers were received. This has also cost my husband double the amount in flowers, as he felt so bad he went out and purchased another bouquet.

This is the first year since we have been married that I had not received flowers that had been ordered and I felt upset on my husbands behalf.

i florist apparently have someone that looks at reviews placed on this site and responds to them. I also told The CSO I had myself looked at the reviews and since the beginning to December to today's date half of there reviews were positive but more importantly half were NEGATIVE, a lot of these reviews were complaining about the free delivery and them taking up to 48hrs to be delivered after the date required.

The CSO explained that it does say this in their terms and conditions and if you require your delivery on a specific date you need to have the express delivery instead of the standard delivery. How many people read a companies terms and conditions before a purchase is made. I have suggested to Customer services this should not be hidden away under terms and conditions but should be made clear that a Free Standard Delivery can take 48hrs to be delivered, whereas a £1.90 Express Delivery will be made on the day the flowers are required. I would think if most people were aware of that they would too pay the £1.90 which certainly isn't much too pay when flowers are so expensive and your birthday/anniversary only happens on a certain day.

Please read the other reviews and also I florist terms and conditions before you purchase anything from this company.
