I ordered a coffin spray for my mother's funeral. To ensure that there was plenty of time I placed the order one week in advance. Imagine my shock and despair when the hearse arrived at the crematorium with no flowers in place. The following day I went into the florist were I placed the order, they contacted the florist who should have delivered the spray, this florist denied having received the order. A complaint was made to e florist who checked the order and confirmed that it had been received by the second florist. This was one week ago. Since then I have been trying to get e florist to find out what went wrong and make some reparation for the distress caused. They initially offered to send me a bouquet as a gesture of apology. I refused this and asked that they write a cheque for my mother's favourite charity (Guide Dogs for the Blind) they have somewhat begrudgingly offered £30.00. This shows how little they value their customers or their own reputation. My local e florist shop is also disgusted with the derisory offer. I only wish that I had read the previous reviews before ordering the flowers, I would have gone somewhere else
