Ordered a large bouquet for a friend who had lost her mother to terminal cancer. Paid £73 which I the most I have ever spent and if I only I had known the flowers would be so bad I would never of used them. If only I had gone to tesco and got their finest range - would of saved me £53 and would of been better. Flowers arrived half dead and not a large like stated. Chose 'Pure Delight' to send to a friend. This should have been a beautiful display of white lillies, roses and yellow flowers as shown in the photo on the website. What actually arrived looked completely different, alot of cheap yellow 'filler' flowers took up half the bouquet. This was so embarrassing as this was sent as a gift. To anyone thinking of using Prestige Flowers please think twice. I ordered flowers in memorandum of my Grandmothers passing and they failed to arrive on the specified day. On contacting the company Prestige Flowers informed me that there is no guarantee that next day delivery will be the next day!!! However I never ordered next day delivery...I ordered the flowers on a Friday early evening for delivery on the following Monday. My husband ordered a package deal of flowers (lilies) balloon and cake for my 50th birthday 3/8/16 He was assured they were definitely on the way.. they turned up the next day whilst I was out. I found a screwed up piece of ripped paper with just the numbers "69" on, this being next door neighbours house number. Flowers were brown, squashed and not at all as shown online. Good luck with that! My 50th birthday was last Weds. My husband ordered bouquet/balloon/cake which turned up the day after. Balloon is 7" in circumference and the cake is 2" square. Misrepresented on website. They are flatly refusing a refund but want to send more substandard flowers. Contact the Ombudsman asap.

“No next day delivery, or the day after, day 3 still no...”

If you want next day flowers use Interflora as they've always been reliable unlike this company. Thought I'd try Prestige as their website advertises next day delivery and quickly got an email saying the order had been dispatched. Ordered on Friday for a friend's wedding that I was unable to attend expecting next day delivery on Saturday so they'd get them on their special day. I had a very similar issue. They attempted to deliver a smelly box with flowers that had been 4 days in transit and my mates refused to accept it as it smelled so much. They flatly refused to refund me on multiple occasion and multiple emails. It was only when I quoted consumer law and asked if they were part of an ADR, alternative dispute resolution scheme that they refunded me. Citizens advice advised to mention ADR to them. Refund came through several minutes later through my PayPal account. I can only assume this is a regular occurrence and staff are primed not to offer refunds when I'm entitled by law to a refund. I was so incensed by their attitude I was fully prepared to go to small claims court and this is something I've never had to do before. They are an absolute joke and their marketing/website is misleading when it highlights they deliver next day. There is no guarantee with this, you could get your order many days/weeks after you expect it.

Update- flowers turned up on Tuesday afternoon in a box with 'deliver Saturday' on it. My friends refused the delivery due to the rancid smell emanating from the box. Prestige refused a refund and offered as a 'goodwill' gesture to redeliver fresh flowers. Don't know why they thought it was a 'goodwill' gesture as i had paid them to deliver fresh flowers and at this point they'd failed to deliver anything acceptable. Explained friends would be by now on honeymoon and i want a refund as they haven't at this stage provided any good other than rotting flowers. Awful company. I can only assume my experience isn't that unusual as they refused to refund again and never attempted to offer anything compensatory. They only refunded me after I quoted consumer law and breach of contract to them. Just refunded me, no contact to let me know. Awful customer service, can only assume they're told not to refund people. I would never use this company again. Have been ordering online for a long time and this is by far the worst experience I've ever had with any company. Only use this company if you're wanting a late delivery of smelly old flowers.

I didn't even know they had been delivered until I saw a ripped & screwed up piece of paper with the number 69 on...being my neighbours house number, mixed in with my usual post.
Balloon is 7" in circumference and the cake is 2" square. Misrepresented on website. They are flatly refusing a refund but want to send more substandard flowers! Contact the Ombudsman asap.

“Shocking all round! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!”

The photos on their website are nothing like the run of the mill half dead flowers they send you. Once i got 47 Roses of the 50 ordered, i contacted them to let them know that not only was 3 missing, but they wasn't the lx bunch that i paid for and most was half dead! They then offer a £10 voucher to buy more flowers!! Are you joking?? I wouldn't have flowers given from you. They are terrible!! Sadly this seems to be the case with many people. This so called company is clearly ripping people off. I too have contacted the Ombudsman and looking for advice as to what to do next. Good luck, i think we will both need it.

I have never received such poor customer service in my entire life. Ordered flowers for my Mums 50th - I arranged for a friend to pick them up from the porch as no one was in - when they got there the flowers weren't there. Called the company - the flowers were "damaged" the vase had broken apparantly. Instead of sorting this out or calling me I had to then call Prestige - they didn't have a clue. I ordered flowers 4 days before my father in laws funeral, my mobile number and the funeral directors number was on my order, and the card had the first name of the deceased and they were instructed to deliver the flowers to the funeral directors at 8.30 on the day of the funeral.
