Dying in 2 days

Bought 12 red roses from Prestige flowers paying well over what the local supermarkets were charging,i thought they would be "special" coming from a so called specialist,wow NEVER AGAIN,the roses came in a scrawny little bunch.I felt embarassed when my wife opened them, they looked so cheap.My wife followed the instructions which were included in the package,the next day 5 heads had drooped from the stem,only three opened up and the rest shrivelled up.We waited a couple of days to see if they would come through and open up,but they didn't so we decided to E mail prestige and ask for advice upon which we were told we should of taken a picture of the roses within 48 hours of receiving them and sent it to them!!!! Surely so called fresh flowers should last more than 48 hours.I definatelly will not be using prestige flowers again,to quote my wife-"it was a lovely gesture but I hate to see you getting ripped off".Say no more,lesson learned.
