“Still no flowers”

My Mum is in the hospital, and I ordered her Mothers Day flowers to be delivered on March 17th, to make certain she had them in time for Mothers Day. I placed my order March 10th, a full week before the due delivery date. My Mum is still waiting for them! On Tuesday 20th, they had still not arrived. I sent a complaint email to M&S Sunday 18th, when I knew they hadn't been delivered, and they wrote back to say they would be delivered Monday 19th, and they would refund me the cost. I wrote again Monday to say they had still not arrived, and demanded an a full explanation. They haven't even bothered to reply this time! I will NEVER use them again, and would NEVER recommend them. Their service is appalling and their attitude in not properly responding to a complaint, arrogant. From the number of complaints here, they clearly knew they had a problem well in advance of Mothers Day, and in my opinion, they should have hired a courier service, at whatever cost to them, picked up the items, and had them delivered on time. I hope they treated their own Mothers with more respect and tenderness than they treated mine. Anonymous Mum's are still Mum's, and when we love them, it is HUGELY disappointing to have our gifts not show up, and our feelings dismissed so discourteously. It may be just business to you M&S, but businesses fail. May your flower delivery part do so, and preferably before Mothers Day 2013.
