AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

I ordered some flowers to be delivered on Saturday 25th April, I paid £6.99 for the delivery charge , they had to be delivered Saturday as that was the only time the customer ( my friend ) would be in.
I decided against using Interflora 9 who I normally use without issue ) and support a local florist in the cheddar area, hence why I decided on Lillian Rose.( i have since found out that they are based in WISBECH and not local at all!

Saturday came and went and the flowers hadn’t been delivered.
I then got a message at 7.27pm Sunday 26th April from my friend thanking me for the flowers.
It transpires that despite her name and address being on the outside of the box of flowers your courier decided to dump them outside a house in Burnham on Sea .
The occupants of said house were on holiday and returned home Sunday afternoon to find the flowers on their doorstep.
The lady of the house then very kindly decided to drive to my friend’s house and deliver the flowers herself.

So the outcome- very annoyed me, very annoyed lady ( who is also going to complain today ) and upset friend, who said that the flowers weren’t even very nice anyway after being sat in a box for 2 days! And what a waste of my money and the ladys money who had to use her own petrol.

I then have wasted my time and money calling today to try and raise the complaint and get it dealt with ( whilst at work).
I rang at 9.03am this morning to complain, had to repeat the story twice to someone who then told me I had to email it and she would send me a blank email straight away to me.
An hour later , still no email so at 10.04am I rang again and was told that that lady was on the phone, but if I gave my details again she would send the email.
10.50am – still no email so I rang back to speak to the manager and was told ‘she is on the phone, she will call you back’.
11.38am – still no email or phone call so I rang again and was hung up on.
11.39am rang again and was told I have to email the manager and you will respond before 1.30pm.
I havent received any response and have been hung up on again .AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!
