On Friday Feb. 14, my daughter placed an order with JustFlowers.com to have flowers delivered to two different individuals. The retailer guaranteed that delivery would be conducted by 4 pm that same day. However, no flowers were delivered. No phone calls notifying her of the situation were performed either. On Sat Feb 15, she called and they informed her that the florist for that area had an abundance of deliveries and unfortunately had not been able to complete all the orders. At the point she wanted her delivery refunded but instead they notified her that the flowers were being re-delivered. One order was delivered and left at the door with the wrong information on it. No signature was even obtained for that delivery. Price of one flower was $59.99; S&H was $16.48 a total of $76.47. The second order did not go through however they told her that it would be delivered on Mon. Feb 17. Sadly was that on Monday the individual’s place of employment observed Presidents day and the department was closed. On Wed. Feb. 20 the flowers ordered remained undelivered and uncounted for. JustFlowers still did not want to refund her money. Instead she was told that delivery was indeed performed but when investigated the flowers had been delivered to a different building where delivery person cannot provide signature of acceptance. Sadly, is that the building and the department where they supposedly delivered them is under construction and has no greeting counter. JustFlowers informed my daughter that they were not responsible for the delivery as it is someone else that performs it. When I ask to speak to the manager they gave me a run around. JustFlowers did not perform as they guarantee and they demonstrated that they do not care that the flowers were not delivered and satisfaction of the customer does not matter. On Feb. 21 I was able to locate the flowers, which were limped and almost dead, in a totally different location and different floor. I called the florist who delivered the flowers and questioned their process. She notified me that they were not taking orders for Friday Feb. 14 and supposedly they received the order from JustFlowers on Sat Feb 15. She tried to claim that someone signed for the flowers and that a staff member expressed to have known the recipient which obviously was not true. Several versions were told of the occurrence. One I decide to write a review I uncovered that many individuals had experience this unfortunate outcome where a special moment becomes a big heart ache? Big companies demonstrate that this is not an issue for them as one person may not change anything or cause them a deficit. The moral of the story Find a local florist where no middle man is involved and NEVER order from JustFlowers as they will not refund your money or replace the ordered item.
