I placed a call Wednesday, January 08, 2014 to justflowers.com to order a hydrangea plant for a friends funeral. I called spoke directly to a customer care representative. I left detailed information that if a hydrangea plant could not be found to please let me know before a substitute was sent. I was assured that the hydrangea plant would be available and delivered by 4:00pm on Thursday, January 10, 2014. Well, I showed up to the visitation on Thursday and NO PLANT!!! Needless to say, I called right when I left the funeral home. I was told that they were so sorry but they were having a hard time finding the hydrangea plant. The customer care representative apologized that no one called me but assured me that by 11:00am on Friday (Funeral) the plant would be there. On Friday morning, at 8:30am I received a call from justflowers.com asking me to call them. I was not able to reach anyone until 11:30am. I spoke to a manger who again apologized for the handling of my order but stated they were not able to fill my order. She indicated she would send flowers to my friends home and call and apologize to them as long as I was willing to still pay for the hydrangea plant. The manager did say she could possibly take $10-$15 off my original order!! Are you kidding me!! I have used justflowers.com for a few funerals that are out of town. I am left wondering if they actually were delivered! I cancelled my order and will not use justflowers.com!
